From my experience this is totally unpredictable, but they usually don't go to 75%. I once lost a set I really wanted by holding out.

Thank you all so much for your advice, I posted a while ago about taking back a ruby and millie ultimate collection I had bought at full price for a friend but another store had not given me my reciept back, so when I returned it I was told could only have the half price refund and had to swap it for stuff in store that day. Anyway on your advice I email customer services but have had no reply so I just called them, explained the problem and a really nice guy has called the store and arranged for a rull refund on a gift card for me. I an so pleased coz I was really upset at loosing 25 quid.

so happy my sons trike has arrived (sorry those who havent got theres) icould jump for joy money is going to be really tight this year as decided im going to return to work part time until june and then get a job in boots(crosses fingers)

Anyone who works for boots could you tell me what kind of hrs you work ie what shift patterns they have. Thank you

I just went to my local store Yeovil and got a couple of things in the 50% sale coz only one left and didnt want to miss out. I asked at the till when I paid and was told they would eventually reduce the sale stuff more but only when more had been sold. Why can it be the same in every Boots store. There are some things I would realy like but only if 75% off. I am really sad now.lol

manchester (arndale and market st) was both still 50% off asked upstairs wen they reduce to 75% they said they didn't no but the woman downstairs on purfume said it shoulda bin today so will probs be 2moz hth....mumofone which highlighter r u after? they had the 50p wipes and the highlighters i'll get them an send em if u want....(as a gift )

Tried using combos of points etc with £5 off -would have worked if SA had left me to my own devices but she interfered and insisted that I let her examine the £5 voucher to see if Id bought the right cream. I did point out that at 46 years old I had in fact been capable of reading for many years now-of course once that went through everything else beeped. I said I don't think I'll have them when she said "You can't use more than one voucher". Which things do you want she asked-I said none- What you don't want to by anything? came the reply


Now I ask you as a Boots swoop and scooper, duck and diver, sniff a glitcher

do I really look like someone who wants to pay for something.

Anyway she'll be happy-at the end of the day the manager will award her Boots wings-To Protect and Serve and i'll look at the things I got from another store, with the same vouchers but with an SA who presumed I could actually read.

I was at Fort Kinnaird at Edinburgh today and they have hundreds of Xmas sets left and loads of Lynx which will be redunced from £8.49 to £2.12 for deod and shower gel tomorrow, also quite a bit of toys. I did ask the friendly man and he said it was tomorrow, he was filling the shelves. Shame I am working and won't get there :-(
