I tried to use a £5 voucher for Time Delay handcream, but the till would not accept it - worked fine on TD wipes. The CA was surprised, as she said she was sure it had been working and she had planned to get some handcream.

I had exactly the same happen this morning, SA tried several times and it just wouldn't go through.

Just for information, I have been on a quick recce to Meadowhall, and in line with everywhere else, the sale is still at 50%.

Lots of stock being put out on the shelves. Roll on tomorrow!

Hi mdeebee do you or anyone else know if Meadowhall 75% off is tommorrow I don't know whether to make the trip or not. Do you know what time they open and what sort of stock they have in, many toys? Can't get anyone to answer when I ring the store

No sale in hanley boots but quite a bit of stock-Looks like they have had difficulties getting rid of so, no7 makeup and ted baker stuff this year but only a couple of sanctuary items left. The ac machine wasn't working either.I will now also be stocking up on some toys as 2 of my nieces have birthdays in march and then another in may so fingers crossed that there will be some girly toys left.Hubby thinks I am crazy and has decided that I must have been an ancient egyption in a past life & my toiletries and boots stuff is my way of hoarding treasure and that he will bury me wih my advantage card and boots products-It's not a bad idea really because at least I will look and smell nice.

    I got all my 75% offs from Boots ... TODAY :j :j :j

I phoned the Manchester Market St Boots last week and asked when the sale was and was told Monday. I phoned again this morning and was told it was today ... so me and 2 pals went straight from school.

Got to Boots and everything was half price so presumed they hadn't updated the labels yet. The manager was close by and so we asked if it was 75% off now. He said it started tomorrow  I told him I had phoned this morning and was told it was today, I then added that we had taken the morning off work specifically for the sale and couldn't get in tomorrow ... he apologised and told us to shop and they would over ride the tills but NOT to tell anyone.

So we shopped and shopped and shopped :j

We spent roughly £100 each and if anyone was in this morning and seen 3 girls with Boots trolleys heaving it was us ... and you should have seen us trying to get back to the car :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So all praise to Boots, I'm all shopped out, Christmas 08 is sorted :D

BTW, loads of stuff left and also some sets downstairs but main sale items upstairs. Perfume will be reduced tomorrow and only certain sets.

    Happy shopping :D

Edit to add: Sorry if anyone from here asked us in store if the sale was on and we said no, we were told to say that. Everyone kept asking us and the staff. I did feel bad lying but thought they might not let us have our stuff otherwise :(

Just been to my local boots and brought the 50p sale tan wipe and got the powder for free with the no7 powder voucher, and i also brought the time delay eye cream using the £5 voucher, when she put everything through and it said £1 she had to go through the bag and double check! then said £1 please!:D

I was so happy, but felt i was being naughty because it was a sale item, so quickly walked out the shop:D

I also bought the tan wipe this morning for 50p and got another high lights free with mag voucher:D I think this is probably the only reduced item the glitch works with now. It doesn't seem to work with any other reduced items anymore:confused:

It was the bigger sized one (1l) priced at 95p - maybe voucher only doubles the discount with this size?

Ah, that explains why you got it for free. 1L bottle is 1/2 price to healthclub members - 50p voucher = free. However, the voucher is for use with the 750ml bottle only. I didn't think the voucher would work with the larger sized bottle, so I never tried to buy it, but I will now:D
  • Me, are you off to retail park or town centre.... or both?

Hiya !!!! XXX I thought I was the only 'Boots MAD Blackburnian'!! Think I'll go to Town first and if it's not too wet outside (Fat chance!) I'll have a look at the retail park later on (should be more stuff there as it's not as busy as the one in our rubbish little town centre - 'The Mall!!' (having said that they are redeveloping it - FINALLY!!)

Hope we all get some BARGAINS!!!XX GOOD BOOTSING TO YOU ALL!
