what is the big deal with the secrecy??? we want to know because the 75% off sale will be great for us.

However if they didn't tell us, they'd still have loads of custom from people who havent made a special trip as the 75% sale is a bargain.

So don't they want our extra custom?? I'd be thrilled if I were Boots to know that all us lot will be making a special journey and snapping up the bargains and clearing their stock - which is the aim of a sale!!!

I went to check it out this morning and it was still just 1/2 price but quite a few people were buying stuff anyway. Maybe they are saw us all coming and kept their prices up a bit longer this year hoping some of those extra customers today would pay 50%.

  • 5 out of 6 of my parcels arrived today, 1 item missing at the moment which hopefully should arrive tomorrow but out of the 7 items which arrived today 5 of them have damaged packaging! Looks like some idiot in the van has just throw them about! I've called to complain & been told to call back tomorrow when/if the other item arrives then they will look into it.

Rang Bond St at 8am to check before setting out - was told not sure but maybe end of the month!

I just went to my local store Yeovil and got a couple of things in the 50% sale coz only one left and didnt want to miss out. I asked at the till when I paid and was told they would eventually reduce the sale stuff more but only when more had been sold. Why can it be the same in every Boots store. There are some things I would realy like but only if 75% off. I am really sad now.lol

Got soaked this morning (left home in a hurry and forgot my brolly:mad: ) running down to my local boots. I was on a high until I realised the 75% off had not started:( Oh well, off to work I went looking like a drowned rat. Thankfully, It's my day off tomorrow:j I do hope the 75% sale is tomorrow. SA said she didn't know which day it started. She said it is this week sometime though...the suspense is killing me:rotfl:

Went to Boots at Monks Cross in York today. The sale is still 50%.
The AC machine gave me lots of Vouchers for 250 points on Trevor Sorbie and Umberto Giannini ranges (not minis) and also 100 points on any Botanics bath , body & face accessories.
I bought haircare at £4.49 + Body waffle at £1.49 + time delay £4.50 total £10.48 minus skincare voucher total to pay £5.98 but I got a facial skincare voucher and 370 points back making the purchases £2.28. I repeated the transaction 10 times. I will be spending the points tomorrow and so I have spent just £22.80 on £104.80 worth of toiletries.... I love Boots!
SA told me Boots offers always run Tues to Tues so the sale should start in the morning.

Just been to my local boots and brought the 50p sale tan wipe and got the powder for free with the no7 powder voucher, and i also brought the time delay eye cream using the £5 voucher, when she put everything through and it said £1 she had to go through the bag and double check! then said £1 please!:D

I was so happy, but felt i was being naughty because it was a sale item, so quickly walked out the shop:D

Last year several of us noted the date, which was definitely Monday 15th Jan, so that's another line from a Boots SA to add to the collection.
