Hi all, hope all is well.
Bit of advice as to if I have a case at all to fight against a PCN.
Recently had a NtK issued for a carpark that I wasn't actually parked in.
I was parked for 5 minutes on the turn off from the main road that leads into the carpark whilst popping in to pick up a takeaway..
Now this is a common space that is used regularly as it does not actually go past the signage which is on the side of the building and in the carpark which is residents only parking.
The parking attendant was in the process of photographing my car and the signage which in the photos can clearly see that the signs are a good 15 to 20 foot behind the car ,which proves I have not entered the carpark to be bound by terms and conditions etc.
When I questioned him over it and asked him where the boundary of the carpark starts , he just waved an imaginary line across the front of my car,no markings etc.
I also took plenty of my own photos of the proximity of the car in relation to the carpark and signage which I will add.
Basically,do I have a strong case or should I just pay up?
Will add the NtK
Many thanks

Particularly this wording as I never actually entered the carpark

These are a sample of the photos I took which shows the distance between what I would class as the the carpark determined by passing the sign on the wall

Hello again!
I would never have parked there - basically don't go off street (at all) where scammer signs are nearby. But just ignore this one. No point appealing but certainly don't pay.
Tell them if you move house.
Come back if you get a Claim Form.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi
Hope you are all good.
Received LoC from dcb legal but no reply forms.
Has to be done on their website via a link.
It also suggests a dispute resolution call by calling the office!!
I assume this is just their standard template LoC that you don't need to see?
Coupon-mad, I note on your previous reply to get back to you if I get a claim from so here I am.
So do I need to respond or just wait for the court claim?
Many thanks0 -
Respond by email using the LoC template response, sent to their info@ email address0

If you use the suggested reply in the NEWBIES thread you'll get a template response. We don't wanna see that either!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So not the www.dcblegal.co.uk/response link that is on the form?
Or is that basically what they want me to do and therefore fall into a trap as such.
Sorry if that sounds daft0 -
You can contact them on their daft portal if you like. You can also opt to ignore them until the Claim Form arrives. It will change nothing!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad
Understood about the portal,no probs.
So I take it then if I ignore it and just await the Claim Form, it won't be seen in an unfavourable light should it go to court in the future such as no intention to have mediation? I thought that was part of the process now even though obviously there would be no agreement at such a meeting.
Of course I will be guided by you more knowledgable folk!
