I thought I had messed up and not met the "3 active direct debit requirement" to get the £200 switch incentive. I had 3 but only 1 was really active (other two showing last payment taken May/Jun 2025) but thankfully it didn't seem to matter as the £200 turned up.
Once payment was taken in the last 13 months they're active so all 3 were really active.
Good to know for future reference - thanks!

What's the deal with paying in the £2k to avoid the £5 monthly fee for Lloyds Club? Is the month counted from the date of opening as thought I read somewhere it was only for a full calendar month e.g. I'd only need to pay it in within December (account was opened approx Nov 15th)?

    Thanks!

It's per calendar month, but the fee isn't charged for the first month.

I’m having a mare with this. I googled and selected Open a Club Lloyds account - it sent me to open a Lloyds account and it’s just given me a basic account. Nowhere did it give the option for club Lloyds. Hence I assumed you’d have to “upgrade” to club Lloyds once the current account was open. They are now telling me I have opened an account that is not eligible. I’m not happy! I have filed a complaint.
