    Another day, another question...

I've opened the club lloyds  account and instructed  the switch into it from my other account.
So because I've got the CL account as of today, do l need to deposit £2000 before this month(sept) is out, if l don't want to pay the £5 fee?
No, the fee isn't charged in the first month.
    Thank you for that information.
But in the end, l put 2k in and out just to make sure
Why did you ask the question if you were going to ignore the advice?
Indeed, why ask the question without looking at the terms which answer it, some questions will remain unanswered like where Lord Lucan rode to on Shergar

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Bonus paid. One working day after switch. Not even paid the DD, that was too easy!

I did not pay any money into the account. The only money in the account was £12 prior to paying the switch bonus.

Just  had a look at my app and lve received the "incentive " at some point after 3 pm today.
The switch date was the 7th, so only took the following  day.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking of trying their luck, I received a Lloyds incentive on their last offering even thought I shouldn't have got it, my previous one to that was Nov 22.

You've double posted the same question, so any replies may be spread over two separate threads, and it will confuse everybody.

I saw a few people say that they were paid the bonus one working day after the switch being complete. Is this true for everyone? My switch completed yesterday but no bonus today.

They've not even opened yet. It normally credits late afternoon of the day after switch completion.

That's later than it used to be.  In previous switches to Lloyds and Halifax I've always had the bonus before the switch has completed.

The difference with this one to some older versions is they need to check direct debits.

I know I got a Lloyds bonus years ago, possibly 2020? Can't remember. Will need to check my credit file for when I opened it.

I might give this one a go, see what happens. Not in, can't win and all that.  ;)
    Any luck with the attempt?
