'The Sun' Holidays are back!!

I got my confirmation today. We are off to Haven. I got my first choice park but my last choice date. It means the kids will have to miss the first day back at school after the easter break but it means I won't have to miss any of my course as I will have finished the day before we go.

Hey everyone - looking forward to another fab holiday the last week of march - ended up getting our first choice (Warmwell holiday lodges) cheque cleared pretty quickly, had the confirmation two days ago and to pay the remainder of the balance - which i was a tad worried about as they took so long! Parkdean even lowered our balance for us as its just me and partner going I look forward to these every year and Warmwell has to be one of the best we have stayed at - Hope everyone has their first choices and everything goes smoothly

Rachel is right that you cant change it but why not see if someone can go instead of you as they dont check your details when you check in, as long as you have the booking confirmation letter someone may be able to swap dates or parks with you was only a suggestion

I booked online in my name for Parkdean Challaborough bay, went ok but no confirmation letter (did get an email though). Then I sent in the tokens in my partners name for the weekends either end of this booking at the same site. Yesterday I got the booking through for my partner; weekend and site we wanted but we still have heard nothing about the online booking which was made at least a week before!

I have also booked a Parkdean site online i booked it the 1st day you could book online got confirmation email yet no confirmation in post, paid by debit card and money has been taken, i did try and query it with the sun however they state i have to wait until 28.2.08 i am getting bit anxious now.

someone mentioned that the various companies haven etc are sometimes slow to send confirmation

eg its the fault of the holiday company not the sun

I booked a parkdean and was told the same thing. But my confirmation came in the post yesterday so don't stress you should get it this wk sometime :-)

Sometime they are silly money, other times quite reasonable on various sites I have been to in the past.
