Physical switches are also a good idea if your network goes down or a server company goes bust somewhere, etc..casper_gutman said:
We have these and they work really well. You can control the lights using smart apps etc. too, but having actual switches on the wall means visiting in-laws don't have to go on a training course to be able to turn the lights on!

Plus some physical switch solutions arent traditionally wired and are just as dependent on network connections.

Presumably you can't do what we do which is have the under cabinet lights on all the time during waking hours irrespective of if someone has passed by in the last X minutes/hours?0
