Seller asking for photos of my body with measurements

I ordered a dress in a uk 16, there’s no way it’s a 16, more like a uk 12. I’ve requested to send it back with the biggest issue being its doesn’t look like the picture on the website, the style is slightly different and the lace is completely different! That is my main reason for the return but I added as a side note that the size was way off. They have asked for pics of garment and packaging (fair) but they also want me to wear right clothes and take pictures of my body showing the measurements! Surely they can’t do that?!

“Laveliya” don’t judge me 😂 I did read reviews first as seemed….less than legiteskbanker said:Sounds dodgy, who is the supplier?0 -
Oh dear, a Hong Kong company, with correspondingly different consumer rights than you'd have if purchasing from a UK business. How much was the dress, i.e. if you're realistically unlikely to see your money again, how much of an issue will that be?mumof5boyz said:

Id tell them to do one. Online purchases can be returned without reason within 14 days tell them that.0

I wouldn’t count on help from PayPal. They would almost certainly require you to return the item fully tracked. Unfortunately these Gar East sellers rarely ever accept or sign for returned items, so it will just disappear and you’ll lose your return postage as well.mumof5boyz said:£132, not the end of the world and luckily paid with PayPal so that should help….i just couldn’t believe the cheek of it!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. But do you have to pay the return postage is the key question as the seller may disagree the buyermarcia_ said:Id tell them to do one. Online purchases can be returned without reason within 14 days tell them that.
stance.
If the wrong item was sent and/or it was faulty, then I guess the seller pays for the return
I'm guessing the buyer wants to see the garment on the person; no need to include your face.
Buying clothing online is a hit-and-miss. I'm sure you will agree that with women generally, less so men, a size
10 in one store is a perfect fit, in another it is too small and then in another it's too big
I've bought shoes online, Clarks as they do varying widths but I would never by shoes online from any other brand. My OH bought a dress, it was too big - its the first and last time she will buy clothing online.
