Para 1 can be removed. It still flows.

FYI All of the defence above fits into MCOL hence the redacted copies from MCOL which I posted. I just forgot to renumber after para 5

What's the usual timescales for a reply on defence do DCB Legal usually wait the full 28 to issue me  their usual template?

No it takes longer because they haven't been served the defence yet. You might hear their drivel in December.

That's unfortunate I was looking forward to an argument quite soon  :)

I'll just keep an eye on MCOL and come back when I have more news

    ***UPDATE***

DCBLegal have now written to me with the following, they have asked for the evidence which I believe I am not inclined to share with them directly unless someone can advise otherwise:

    Dear XXXXXXXXXXX,

We write in response to your correspondence received in our office and your Defence filed.

We note that despite your points of dispute, there is an absence of any evidence in support of the same so that we may consider this. Subsequently, if you do have evidence which you believe supports your dispute, please furnish us with the same.

As legal proceedings have now been issued, your file will not be placed on hold. Both parties are required to address further documentation received form Court in the meantime.

Alternatively, the Claim balance of £267.52 remains due and payable.

Payment can be made via bank transfer to our designated client account:-

Account Name: DCB Legal Ltd Client Account

    Sort Code:

    Account Number:

You must quote the correct case reference (XXXXXXXXX) when making payment. If you do not, we may be unable to correctly allocate the payment. If further action is taken by us as a result of an incorrect reference being quoted, you will be liable for any further fees or costs incurred.

Alternatively, you can contact DCB Legal Ltd on 0203 434 0437 to make payment over the telephone or online at  https://dcblegal.co.uk/response/pay-online/

Thanks for the reply, most likely will ignore them but is it worth replying saying something a long the lines of 'This will be provided in my witness statement when the time arises through the courts'

Your choice, doesn't really matter at this early stage

You dont show your cards face up halfway through a game of poker

The N180 stage is next, then mediation,  see the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements

Yeah that's true tbf, unless I'm legally obliged I won't bother.

I'll wait for the N180 to be sent to me. Assuming it will be on MCOL when available.
