I am crediting £300+ each month and making more than 15 debit card payments each month. I am also paying the maximum £200 per month into the regular saver. Hopefully, they will not move the goal posts too far for me to qualify.0

Thanks for the reminder Danny13579.
Just transferred £600 & £400 in.
Then out.
Made Nationwide default payment on my phone.
I will buy 6 items this week.
Plus reg saver is activate.
That should do it.

You could also consider doing a switch into Nationwide, as this was an option in lieu of the current account transactions last year.@danny13579 You also need to meet the savings/mortgage criteria, which might be worth highlighting in your OP.1

Just in case anyone missed it (I did) if you have a Flexplus account you don't need any payments in / out0

You didn't, in previous years.mta999 said:Just in case anyone missed it (I did) if you have a Flexplus account you don't need any payments in / out
This year's scheme has not been announced. If Virgin Money accounts are included it'll be interesting to see if Club M and Premier packaged accounts are treated the same as FlexPlus.

Reminder that the requirement last year was also to have £100 in savings or mortgage balance - you do not qualify just from the current account

I qualified last year paying in the money monthly - I bounce £1300 into RBS (for the reward qualifier and £150 digital saver) then £1150 into Nationwide (£150 into their regular saver) and £1000 out again. I do 3 card payments during the month, carrots are by far the cheapest way to qualify if you don't do transfers for savers, you can get small ones that self scan to 1pSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Thanks. I forgot about that. OP updated.PRAISETHESUN said:@danny13579 You also need to meet the savings/mortgage criteria, which might be worth highlighting in your OP.1 -

For good measure in case they change their criteria, I've also switched a dummy Chase account to Nationwide, completing tomorrow, as this was also another way to qualify last year (and I know a few people who left it too late last year were saved by this option).

Thanks for this reminder. I didn’t bother renewing my Regular Saver after it matured in November but have now done so. Hope I haven’t blown my chances.Nasqueron said:Reminder that the requirement last year was also to have £100 in savings or mortgage balance - you do not qualify just from the current account

Agreed, last year's happenings have no real relevance to this year as T&C's could easily change, and I do wish the admins or whoever made the change, would contact the Post Originator prior to taking action!danny13579 said:For some reason this thread has been merged with last year's! 🙄 I have requested they be split but I shan't hold my breath.2
