Absolutely didn't in the last case, my wife actually had. We have a new house and it has identical address as a nearby street but for postcode suffix, road name and even the prefix is identical. Amazon launched their new courier service which the seller used and parcel was not delivered, to exacerbate Amazon would only give proof of delivery to the customer by login, "their customer" being the seller. eBay customer service just ruled in favour of courier "Delivered" and would not help us obtain proof of delivery from the seller.RFW said:Gobsh said:I already know their policy is with the seller if the item is marked Delivered. Not quite. They usually check it's been delivered to the correct address. You can also get a refund if it shows as delivered to the correct address and you haven't received. As a seller I've done that a few times. Unfortunately, I seem to be one of the few honest sellers these days, having had to deal with a few problem sellers myself just lately. As above you have to persevere with customer service which is increasingly difficult to find on Ebay and pretty much everywhere else too.

I would imagine eBay would only rule in the seller's favour if they could see that the tracking was shown as delivered to the correct postcode (otherwise the seller could have simply posted it to themselves and entered the tracking number on ebay)0 -

Yeap Amazon now have a courier service and eBay sellers can use it like any others.
eBay just confirm the courier marked it as "Delivered" I told eBay CS Agent that a small time courier could just throw it in the ditch and just mark it Delivered, his response was that reputable couriers wouldn't do that. Ultimately not bothered beyond the tracking saying "Delivered"

Seller just messaged me and still claiming it was delivered:
Dear Customer,Your item is delivered so kindly again recheck around home.Thanks0 -
Ultimately eBay's position favours the seller if their tracking shows "delivered", (they can throw it in a ditch), and the onus then is on the buyer to prove they didn't receive it.
In this case I'm just hoping that eBay see that the bogus tracking slip trust shows delivery to Northern Ireland is proof enough to get a refund. The seller is STILL maintaining they delivered.0 -

Time for a quick update. The seller is still claiming they delivered and no refund. I was a bit concerned that eBay would see the bogus tracking/delivered and close the case in sellers favour, so I called CS to point this out. Used this link:and got a call back in 5 minutes in Sunday 👍. It's a keeper.Anyway customer service agreed with me, assured me that sellers haven't proven delivery, but that they have 3 days to resolve this. On Thursday she is calling me back to conclude if they haven't responded. Happy👍1
