Buyer beware! Delivered = Not Delivered
Second time I've been scammed like this
Just ordered some bulk coffee pods £40+ (currently £60 on Amazon), received with only 2 days date on. Returned these. Got a refund a week later. Fine. I guess?
Found a different seller, confirmed good date, ordered and paid. 3-5 days delivery
No tracking?
Waited waited waited
Raised "item not received" after a week
Magically received an email "Your package is now with Royal Mail."
Checked the tracking number "Delivered Saturday" (2 days after my order) "In your secret place" (I didn't agree any secret place). We were in all day last Saturday and I have surveillance. I will check with neighbours but I already know they would have told me
To obtain proof of delivery RM require the correct postcode
Tried my postcode the maximum 3 times. Each time it was rejected as not matching the tracking number
I suspect that the seller has just added a random tracking number for "an item" that was delivered "somewhere"
I intend to call eBay but I already know their policy is with the seller if the item is marked Delivered. (Second time this has happened to me)
Any ideas??

When you call eBay point out you can't view the POD with your postcode and hopefully they will refund.
Have you tried the postcode with and without a space (not sure if it makes any difference). In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
Was this purchased using simple delivery? If so ebay should be able to tell whether the seller has used the pre-populated ebay label or has arranged their own courier. If the tracking info wasn't available straightaway it is likely the seller has added it later and tried to claim a refund on the ebay label.
If you click on tracking can you see which delivery office delivered the item?

I think coffee pod sales on Ebay are a scammers paradise.
I had the same problem. The seller gave me a tracking number showing delivered. The thing is, the tracking showed delivery 2 days before I ordered the items. He then apologised (in pigeon English) saying he got muddled up and sent me a photo of a supposed screenshot showing delivery which was quite clearly a fake.
I then sent an aggressive message calling him out on his lies and opened an INR case and he refunded.
I won't buy coffee pods off Ebay again...most (if not all) of the competitively priced ones are scammers from India. Probably the same company under different names.4 -

Not quite. They usually check it's been delivered to the correct address. You can also get a refund if it shows as delivered to the correct address and you haven't received. As a seller I've done that a few times. Unfortunately, I seem to be one of the few honest sellers these days, having had to deal with a few problem sellers myself just lately. As above you have to persevere with customer service which is increasingly difficult to find on Ebay and pretty much everywhere else too..0
