You don't have a LoC yet. The final para of the BW Legal letter tells you that.

While you're waiting, one week to go:

    FIGHTBACK ALERT:

Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline next week.

    See this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-now-extended-closes-friday-26th-september/p1

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam over 18 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Also, just to confirm with you, should I send my above email and dispute the charge NOW or wait until I receive a LoC? (Sorry if it's supid question!)

Yes please do. To all drivers. Share it widely!

All motorists should do it but it takes a couple of hours. Hence I've provided some guidance, hope it helps. I'm not putting words into anyone's mouth, though! See that thread.

    Yes wait for the LoC.

Oh... I have reviewed the MSE guide and realised that it's too late to email bwlegal if they sent me a Letter of Claim. Is that correct? Do I need now to "You'll then need to write a defence and send it to the Civil National Business Centre (CNBC), which deals with money claims. Use the Money Claim Online (MCOL) system via your Government Gateway account"

You can use the response to a letter of/before claim that is in the NEWBIE sticky up until you receive a claim form.  You can't just write a defence and send it to CNBC, you need to wait until you receive a N1SDT claim form.  Have you received a N1SDT claim form yet?

I have received the first letter of claim with the below form. Can I still send them the template from my previous thread? Is that a suitable email to send at this stage? Thank you so much in advance!

You don't have to fill in theri forms, just use the standard response to a letter before/of claim in the NEWBIE sticky

Why aren't you just emailing the new LBC response in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread? Please don't copy & paste it here. We don't need to check it.
