NTK (Postal - Non PoFA) by UKCPS

anothercashcow said:Hi Just picked up on this thread as I have received a postal non POfa from UKCPS on Saturday for No stopping at Leeds station.having looked at the threads and the beginners guide I am confused as whether to ignore the letter entirely and risk further action or to respond via the UKPcs website to inform them I am the keeper, i am not revealing the identity of the driver and I am formally disputing the parking charge. The vehicle was pulled over for approx 90secs while the driver sorted something, they didn’t leave the vehicle or turn the engine off.The signage onsite does not indictate this is private land or stopping is prohibited, or the fact it is being monitored by cctv for any purposes.
Ignore UKCPS but tell them if you move house within 6 years.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Re further action I am referring them issuing this ito debt collector or to civil court.Just clarifying as your your sign off says don’t pay but don’t ignore, so curios why you say to ignore UKPCS but update them if I move?So the recommendation is don’t respond at all to UKCPS even to tell them ‘to take a long walk of a short pier’?
Having spoken to a supplier who lives in Leeds and knows that area, apparently new signage has been put up but it’s not obvious.0 -
You can certainly appeal and tell them ‘to take a long walk of a short pier’ (and could try the IAS to cost them money) but nothing will change because IPC AOS firms don't offer an independent, impartial appeal at any stage. It's the epitome of a kangaroo court.
Your case is the same as all UKCPS cases. Best research for you is read a few threads like yours by searching the forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
