Ok, thanks. I have completed those steps and I have had an appointment made for mediation.

I received a pack through the post of Parking eyes defence and they have replied:

Initially, Parkingeye would highlight that this defence is a standard and generic template distributed on an online forums to defendants attempting to avoid paying parking charges. Parkingeye has received a large number of identical or near-identical defences. All legal arguments are addressed at the end of the document, and will be referred to within our response when addressing each individual argument included in the defendants'' defence.

Ngl, it scared me a bit - should I be concerned?

Standard stuff,  covered in the 8 steps already,  especially mandatory paperwork that is part of the process 

Study the mediation advice,  don't overthink the interim paperwork

Not at all. Ironically that is template dross designed to intimidate you.

Defendants are perfectly entitled to use an up to date and successfully tried & tested Template base to structure a decent defence.

Well, as expected; the mediation wasn't successful. Although I was surprised that ParkingEye offered to reduce it by £40 initially and then a further £20. How lovely of them!

I think I might have been a bit of a doughnut - I didn't add my pictured to my defence!! Was I supposed to have done this?

No pictures or evidence are submitted with any defence 

Save the WS plus your Exhibits for your WS bundle next year 

Mediation is rarely successful,  so everything is on track,  so study the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements,  first post

Its going to be another 4 to 8 months before this is over, so relax,  get some sleep   ( its only Money at the end of the day, perhaps £200 at stake   )  not worth losing sleep over

So I have received my court date and I don't have a lot of time to prepare. My witness statement needs sending in 4 days! I am trying to find a template to work from to no avail. I am not sure how to even start at this point. I have pictures which I am hoping shows that the area in which I parked did not have signs to include my bay and the 'barrier' which PE claim shows the chargeable area looks like a safety barrier to stop cars rolling down the ramp into other parked cars.
