I have received by post Parking Eye's N180 response but I have not yet been requested to fill anything in. Should this arrive by email or post? I am concerned that I am going to miss a deadline
    You won't.

See the first 8 steps in the Template Defence thread and check MCOL, so you know when your DQ is about to arrive.

  • Ok, thanks. I have completed those steps and I have had an appointment made for mediation.

I received a pack through the post of Parking eyes defence and they have replied:

Initially, Parkingeye would highlight that this defence is a standard and generic template distributed on an online forums to defendants attempting to avoid paying parking charges. Parkingeye has received a large number of identical or near-identical defences. All legal arguments are addressed at the end of the document, and will be referred to within our response when addressing each individual argument included in the defendants'' defence.

Ngl, it scared me a bit - should I be concerned?

Standard stuff,  covered in the 8 steps already,  especially mandatory paperwork that is part of the process

Study the mediation advice,  don't overthink the interim paperwork

Not at all. Ironically that is template dross designed to intimidate you.

Defendants are perfectly entitled to use an up to date and successfully tried & tested Template base to structure a decent defence.
