Looks OK,  but add the parking company reference number and issue date too, not just your VRM details

The complaint must come from the person named on the pcn letter,  regardless of who was driving

Ok yeah I can do this, thank you. It's my partner that got the PCN so will be signing it under her name, but I'm ok sending it from a generic email address of mine that doesn't contain a name so I can manage it for her, right?

Correct,  but she is the complainant because her name is on the paperwork

Perfect I've done that. Shall I also send the appeal as well while wait as a backup plan? Or just hold out and wait for a reply?

Cheers again for your help, everyone.

Any appeal should wait until say 2 or 3 days before the appeal deadline expires

but as a valued customer of your brand
You cannot be that valued, if they have allowed their agents to issue a PCN.

So I emailed both Esso and MFG. Esso have just replied to me with the following:

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Esso Customer Care.

We are sorry to hear about your experience at ESSO MFG SIXWAYS Service Station.

Almost all Esso-branded service stations in the UK are now owned and operated by independent companies, such as MFG, which is responsible for the ESSO MFG SIXWAYS service station you visited. MFG manages every aspect of the site’s operation. Therefore, due to the nature of your complaint, they will be better placed and responsible for addressing your issue.

I will pass on your issue to the responsible party, however due to data privacy laws, I first require your permission to pass on your contact details. Please confirm that I may forward your communication (including personal information) to them.

If you would like to contact the company directly, their details can be found below:

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We are sorry that we cannot directly address the experience that you have raised and we hope that you will continue to choose Esso Branded Petrol Stations.

    Thank you!
    Best regards

Should I just give permission or is there anything I should add on to that for more dramatic effect?

Just give them permission to support your complaint by passing it to MFG.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Definitely,  looks much better coming from the fuel provider rather than you, or do it and also email your own complaint too
