Letter before claim

Hello all! 

I’ve just received this LBC and will use the template to reply to them but do I reply straight away via email or wait until the end of the 30 days? 

Since reading the thread I’ve seen about the POPLA appeal, I haven’t done this and so is it too late to appeal to POPLA now? 

I’m new to all this and just going off everything I’ve read in the thread so all and any help is greatly appreciated!

Too late to appeal 

Delaying the LoC response using the template only delays the issue of a court claim,  it wont stop it happening,  so it's up to you if you want to delay it or not

Yep depends if you'd prefer a claim in September, or closer to Christmas/winter. To be clear, Gladstones are NOT always instructed to press ahead with claims so it might just fizzle away.

Defending is easier than appealing.

But after responding - and while you wait and see if a claim comes - we need you urgently:

PLEASE bookmark this thread below and do the government's Public Consultation if you haven't done it yet.

Their proposals are wrong. We must stop them.

Whilst your answers must of course be your own, there are vital points to safeguard motorists interests to make, that many people may not think of without our guidance because we see cases every day and we know the legal background. 

However, people like you have lived & breathed the intimidation, greed and unfairness first hand so your voice is needed!

A heads-up  -  PPE are IPC AoS members so POPLA was never relevant.

So I have sent the email and used the template provided asking to pause for 30 days, is there anything in the mean time I can do or is it wait and see if they respond with a court date?

Yes: do the Public Consultation before Friday, please. The thread makes the replies easy for motorists (if you agree with our stance).
