Morning all. Not had lunch yet so it's still morning to me. Dull first thing and cool but the sun has come out now. Not enough washing for a load today though.Had my hair cut earlier and then we went for a short walk. Nothing else planned for today apart from the usual meals and clearing up.I hate that it's getting darker mornings and evenings. And I worked out I only have two more haircuts before Christmas and that really depressed me.4

Before going out I s&sd the downstairs loo and bathroom. Think it's read a book for afternoon now.Spend less now, work less later.5

Plums and peaches stewed in the microwave, apricots made five small/medium sized jars and it's wonderful, 1 litre of milk turned into yoghurt, coleslaw made with the cabbage and three carrots. Homemade burgers, rolls and fried onions all defrosting for Belovéd to make for supper.I've chomped lunch, run the dishwasher, cleared all the washing up from this morning's cooking and conked out.Better is good enough.5

Hi all
Tired after yesterday's 9.5 hours at work but today wasn't going to be any easier after a morning at the paid stuff, a quick leg stretch with my brothers dog, then a trip to hospital. Very little Flying, I have tidied the kitchen and put some washing in.6 -
lots of jam related stuff doneDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all xx
No jam related stuff done here. I don't have a jelly bag. Of any description. And it still sounds like a euphemism- even though I now know what a jelly bag is.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast, turned over the calendars, taken my meds, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in, completed Connections with no lives lost and supped a brew.
Kept falling asleep whilst watching GBSB. Went to bed tired. Woke up tired. I'll feed the birds, put out the recycling, and sort Joey's seed and water before I set off for the paid stuff. Need to pop in and check Poppy too. I've read the four books that J lent me so I'm returning them.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all.
I'm posting a bit later this morning as it's been a busy start to the day. So far today, I have visited the stables to check on the horse, dropped the kids off at school as it's their first day back, visited the library to return/renew books, attended an online meeting with my uni lecturer and walked the dog.
My list for the rest of today
Do paid stuff
Do some uni work (still trying to get myself into a routine)
Wash up the dishes, dry and put away
Do daily Wordle Got it in 6 today
Remind/offer to help DH get measurements for getting DW in the kitchen Work in progress
Collect the kids from school
Take DD over to the stables so she can ride her horse and do the required tasks
Take DS to his drama rehearsal
Get clothes, bags, etc, ready for tomorrow
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Wednesday. Hugs to those who want/need them.

Strands no hints, all 4 lines on Connecitons, haven't finished Wordle yet.I've spent the morning doing 5 minute jobs all over the house. It takes me ages to work out how to resolve some issues, whether I want to keep something, where it belongs, how to organise the storage space, etc etc. Today has been a day of implementing decisions. Things are looking a tad better. Also finished off some voluntary work prior to going in tomorrow, which is going to be a busy day.Now to load up the car with the last lot of brash and ivy roots, and a quick trip to the tip and the CS with a box of Belovéd's books. Also made three Froggy phone calls to set the ball rolling on things I need to make decisions about and feel very, very stuck over.Better is good enough.5

Afternoon all,
A quick catch up from me as there is a lull in the proceedings.
I did the 1st load of washing first thing and it has dried in the cool breezy weather. DD’s rather smelly sleeping bag has now been washed and is blowing around on the line nicely. Kitchen worktops given a thorough clean this morning after DD went into full baking mode yesterday (including a coffee and walnut cake for DH which he now has to share nom nom). She wiped up after her but it needed a bit of attention this morning. Cleaning the oven is back on my to do list.I went for a lovely blowy walk with a friend, then coffee here afterwards, and that saw off the morning nicely. Mr M is due to deliver shortly, including stocking the baking supplies back up for another DD onslaught next week! The ironing pile is toppling so I really ought to see to that later, although the cooler weather also makes it more attractive for doing a few bits in the garden. Decisions, decisions.4 -
Afternoon all. One washload done and eventually dried after an unexpected shower this morning. Dug some dandelions out of the lawn and then after the shower I gave the grass a trim. It had barely grown but was endy. Tidy now. Did some weeding in next door which is empty at the moment but the weeds were setting seed and I didn't want them all in my garden. Nearly filled the green wheelie. Stealth gardeningHope everyone's OK x6
