Allotment watered. Spinach, chicory, cavolo nero and plums picked. Tomatoes picked from the gh. Now there is no excuse not to come up with a meal plan I suppose. Dead flowers thrown out and vases washed. I caught DH sweeping the kitchen floor - he must have had a funny 5 minutes but that’s level one done! This afternoon, I must dust the DR, maybe even vacuum it. HHI is also on my list. DSis should be collecting her plants later, so that will clear a space on the landing. In fact, I am going to put them by the front door so that she has no excuse to forget them…

Lovely day at work then cleaned my bread tub and cupboard out. I then helped DH dismantle the (little) greenhouse and distributed some left over compost to top up some plants in pots which we are leaving.

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, showered, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in five, completed Connections with no lives lost, refilled Joey's water and seed, and I'm supping a brew.
Paid stuff today. And I'm feeding Poppy on my way home this evening.
Have a good day

Morning all,
Wordle in 4 this morning.
My list for today
Go over to the stables and check DD’s horse
Attend uni classes
Empty the living room bin
Make sure the kids are organised as back to school tomorrow
Quick tidy in living room (most of the cleaning was done on Friday as DD chore)
Take DD to the stables so she can check on her horse
Take DS to his drama group, I’m staying tonight to help
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday. Hugs to those who want/need them.

Morning all,
I am on electrician duty atm as DH has a dr appointment. I washed and dried my hair and ran a load of washing before the electrician arrived, in case he turned the power off as soon as he arrived. Which obviously he didn’t, as I was prepared.
DD returned home last night after working away for 5 days. As that involved camping, she headed straight to the shower, then unloaded her rucksack into the washing pile. One more load left to do later. DSis arrived and duly took her houseplants - clutter removed from the landing plus the responsibility of trying to keep them alive
The plan for the rest of the day includes to clean the ensuite, and get to my admin pile - needs the electrician to finish first as I don’t want the power going off half way through. As ever, I am full of reasons not to start. Mr M slot booked for delivery tomorrow. The frozen fish fillet packs have reduced in size from 4 fillets to 3 - shrinkflation at its finest. Once the freezer has some space (don’t laugh…), I intend to try a Devon fish box which will at least put some money the way of the local fishermen, as well as being the catch of the day. Just need to investigate the depths of the freezer first, and stop the allotment bean production!4 -
Admin, Poppets walk and dailies done. Sofa throws are on the line, I have hoovered through, cleaned the fireplace and as per today's list I have wiped paint work in living room, hall stairs and landing. Just having lunch and doing puzzles before going out for a couple of hours.Spend less now, work less later.3

Thank you for buying from someone sort of locally to me, wherever they are Fayolle.I didn't dust. I took Wren up to Roborough Down to see if her playing up the dogwalker was the dogwalker or the dog. It's the dog. She was okay when she was surrounded by bracken but the minute she was on a golf course she took fright and turned around to head back to the car. Then she decided we'd gone far enough and paw planted, something she does when she doesn't want to walk the route we're on. Bit tricky, we were quite a distance from the car and I'd lost my way. (She may have figured that out.) I know how to navigate so it wasn't a problem for us, but clearly something weird is going on in Wren's little doggy brain. On the way out there I picked up a Morribunds TGTG box (18 eggs, loaf of bread, pack of bread rolls, three boxes of chocolate topped flapjacks, a box of apricots, a bunch of mint, a bag of carrots and two avocados. Then on to L!d1 to pick up the freebies I earned last week and as I was paying - they bought out all the TGTW boxes. A melon, a red pepper, another box of apricots, a bag of apples, a box of peaches, another bag of carrots and a cabbage. So, coleslaw will be made, apricot jam is in the pan on the hob with some vanilla sugar I want to use up, I've stewed the apples, plums and peaches all separately so they'll go in the freezer, the eggs will be tortillas and Nigella's 3 Cheese Strata at some point, and I dropped off the bread, rolls and flapjacks at the local homeless support centre. The woman who took them said she'd eat all the flapjacks if no-one else wanted them! The avocados aren't quite ripe yet, either. Good thing we both like roasted carrots. Very MSE this App but now that I've got the lie of the land, so to speak, and the freezer is rammed full I'll give it a rest for a while.Better is good enough.3
