BOXXER2025 said:1) Hi all DCB Legal did not respond to my email on the 31st
2) but still issued the CCJ. I now have the papers in hand. What am I to do?
2) they issued a court claim, not a CCJ, they cannot issue a CCJ, judges do that task when required
What papers ? Is it an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL ?
If it is a live court claim, Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below, also post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first3 -

Have you opened that QDR email yet. That's going to be about a different PCN(s). You need to know what it says. The legal process with them is underway, ignoring it is likely to give you problems. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Look, this claim is four figures and Smart Parking never used the POFA 2012 so the claim is lying about that.
Also, as predicted, DCB Legal have failed to list the dates of 10 PCNs.
So the POC fails in two ways. I recommend you ask Contestor Legal if they will take this on as a no-win-no-fee strike out application. If they will, they'll kill it for you and get their costs from Smart/DCB.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would suggest that you draft your defence using the template defence by coupon mad, regardless
If CL take it on, then it wont be needed, otherwise it will
Now is not the time for negotiation, the mediation stage is specifically for that, plus the figure to agree on is 3 figures, not 4 figures, should it be a possibility that you want
Step by step, don't get ahead of yourself1
