Tell her she just needs follow post 2 of the NEWBIES thread which only needs her to respond at LBC stage, then claim form stage.
I hope you'll both take time in August to join us as we discuss plans for compelling responses to the consultation. We need the Government to hear from victims to hit home that making people pay any extra 'DRA fee' is a complete NO, even if it was £20. It doesn't work. It just funds & drives the third party CCJ seeking culture and makes people see court as the best option (which it currently is because there is no safeguard or buffer at pre-action stage).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for all your help. We will definitely be giving our voices0 -
If she cannot get the pcn cancelled by the pub or pub chain or brewery, then they are likely to issue a court claim against her using MCOL ( going to court is not inevitable, not the same thing as an initial court claim )
Reminds me of the following thread

I doubt that it will reach a hearing in court2 -
Got a quick question please. No point starting my own thread as I'm in exactly the same situation as the OP (just had a LBA from CE and I wasn't the driver).
@Coupon-mad you said above (on 24 Jul) that the RK shouldn't name the driver but should say the RK wasn't driving.
Later (on 31 Jul) you said the RK can still give driver's name & address if the driver has more fortitude to defend the claim.
Could you just clarify which of these 2 options is more advantageous at LBA stage. Sorry if I've misunderstood anything.0 -
Depends who'd be the more confident defendant to receive a claim form without pooping their pants and will happily copy our template defence and see it off.
It is easy but one of the two people might be more of a wuss than the other?! Only you know. I'm being honest, if tongue in cheek!
And if you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you tell the Government that:
a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent and impartial (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.
b). THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY. WHAT EXACTLY DID CEL DO, TO JUSTIFY £170? NOTHING...
c). Tell them about your experience and the complete and utter waste of court resources caused on a grand scale by firms like this, who have little or no intention of reaching hearings.
Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

Do it this month pleeease! We will discuss it on that thread next week if you want ideas.
NO REPLIES HERE PLEASE.
NOT YOUR THREAD.
