I finally had a reply back from DCBL - I've pasted below. I am a bit confused and trying to read the threads to know what to do next, but please could you lovely lot confirm. Is this now where I go back with my bank statements and prove how much I have paid over the last 7 years?

We write to acknowledge safe receipt of your formal response to our Letter of Claim sent to you in respect of this matter.
Having considered your response, our position in respect of this matter remains as per our Letter of Claim. We note that despite your points of dispute, there is an absence of any evidence in support of the same so that we may consider this with our Client. If you do have evidence which you believe supports your dispute, please furnish us with the same within the 30 days afforded to you.
As it stands, the initial 30 day timeframe under the Pre-Action Protocol remains, and County Court proceedings will be issued following expiry of this 30 day period, without any further reference to you.
We strongly recommend that you contact a member of our dispute resolution team on 0203 434 01427, as a matter of urgency so we may discuss this matter with you and avoid a Claim being issued against you.
If you are at all unsure of your legal position, you may wish to seek independent legal advice.
Thank you for any advice!

Usual template reply. Just ignore. It only costs them £80 to make a claim, so you could provide all the evidence in the world and they'll still take a punt.
You're now waiting for a claim from the court system in the post.2 -
That LoC response would have come from DCB LEGAL, not DCBL
Dont mix them up due to similar initials ( even your thread title says DCB Legal )2 -
Just wait for the claim.CLG2022 said:I finally had a reply back from DCBL - I've pasted below. This is their standard response to any correspondence that calls out their lack of compliance with the Pre-action Protocols. There is no evidence for you to send them and they know that, they're trying to make it look like your position is weak.Email from them:Having considered your response, our position in respect of this matter remains as per our Letter of Claim. Always remember, they just want your money and will say anything to increase the chances of you paying them. DCB Legal would argue black is white if they thought it would help their case.
We find defended claims are discontinued because their entire business model depends on people paying up due to fear and ignorance. Those that challenge them and defend claims usually find DCB Legal discontinues and even if the case goes to a hearing DCB legal tend to lose.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'
