Thank you for the lists. It will be a bit hit and miss this week as I will be working around builders.1 load of washing done before the plumber arrived in case he switched the water off (that’ll be tomorrow now), dried outside as no rain here. The new potatoes have all finally been dug at the allotment but the ground was impossible to get the onions out. DD and bf have been collected from big town station, no thanks to the utility company who today shut my main route in. I was quite proud that I managed to negotiate my way through the town on a different route and arrived at the station car park just in time.Well done on the fantastic weight loss, Kaz. I had a 1/2lb gain this week. Willpower needed.7

Well done Kaz. That's impressive self-discipline, both the walking and the weightloss.I've processed a lot of potatoes from the Too Good to Waste Box so Future Me thanks me when roasties and sautes are needed. They're currently cooling on the dining table. They'll go in the fridge later and the freezer once they're cold.Gathered all the winter hats, gloves, jackets and door curtains that didn't get washed last year because there just wasn't the time to think about those kind of things. All piled up around the w/m but the weather's merde so it'll be a day or two before they get shoved in until I can get them all line dried. Also made a batch of pea, cucumber and mint soup, some of which we had for lunch with some whoopsied pate and toast, (delish) and a Tomato Provencal thing with the big tomatoes that were also in TGTW box for tonight, so supper will be easy.Better is good enough.7

Hoovering finished now.Washing in off line, put out after the storm, all dry.Small food shop done, OH is coming back tomorrow, he will want milk and bread, neither of which I eat / drink. Old bread put out for birds, had white mould on it, well it was nearly two weeks old, should have gone well before now.Patio washed down and cleaned.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Despite the migraine continuing to grumble (though less of a problem than yesterday and Saturday), today I have
- done WMx5 and hung out until the rain threatened, though it never actually came down,
- S&S'd bathroom and kitchen,
- pulled out kitchen bins and all the stuff that was piled on top of them and asked DH to bag/bin it (which he did),
- PUPA in the LR,
- hoovered the hallway where DH's shoes had left a pile of dry mud,
- prepped lunch
- been to see a church friend for a chat about holidays and schools, among other things, and a cuppa
- decluttered something from the freezer which we ate for tea
- phoned a friend
- developed square eyes watching the Monday Quizzes on Beeb2 followed by ForF?
Tomorrow I must sort the papers that have collected on my desk.5 -
@kazwookie - Oh my, hope the rain slows down. Even water that deep can be dangerous and sweep you off your feet, so be very careful out there. It sounds very scary.
My sister called last night and said she and my nephew will be coming over a week from Thursday to help clean up one room in the house. I felt like you, @roundtuit, with your nightmare - was all tensed up all evening and couldn't get to sleep. There is stuff belonging to at least eight people in that room - and one is now back in Wales and the other went to Missouri for Christmas four years ago and we haven't been able to get her stuff to her. She was having mental problems and her father (one of my roommates) told her not to come back here - but all of her stuff is here. Need money for the postage and her father has been no help. Will need to repackage her stuff (14 boxes of it) and see what I can send off next week. She has been getting help back in Missouri and is doing better.
The kitchen floor needs help being cleaned up and so does the living room - but I need to take things out in the yard to sort them as there is no room inside. But the yard needs help too. The missionaries are going to come help with the back yard which currently has nothing but weeds and trash in it. A local realtor is providing a community dumpster over next weekend so we shall have to see what we can get in there that will fit. The tension level is very high at the moment.
My four roommates are hopeless at helping at all. Two of them went shopping today with my list - and didn't even look at it. I had two items on it for me - and they didn't get either so I didn't get what I needed to get the toilet to work. They did get lots of drinks for both of them - which are now spread out everywhere in the way. And roommate Di did refill her candy supply.
At least our weather isn't too hot - just the opposite. We are having really cool weather in the mornings, very grey, and not very encouraging. Strange weather for July. We haven't had summer here yet. It isn't raining - just looks like it, so I am having to water the yard myself using my rollator to get around. Not the easiest thing to do. But I got it done yesterday. Thank goodness we have mostly drought resistant plants or my planters would be in real trouble. Only about 20 feet long of planting space in two planters but one is on a slant next to our ramp.
I will be taking a lot of deep breaths trying to relax for the next two weeks. Hope all of you can relax a bit too.

Gah! Been awake all night, now decided I might as well do another HH MAD 🐸 session before everyone else gets up.
Window cleaner due this morning, so I'll clean the insides later. It'll be all I'm good for today

Good morning, it's an early start for me today.
My list for today
Go over the stables and check on the horse
Do paid stuff
Check banking and direct debits
Attend a job interview
Take the dog for a long walk. Currently too hot will do this later if it cools down.
HHI Too hot to stand at the ironing board
Dust the master bedroom
Do some more work in the garden. I made a start on it yesterday.
Hoover the master bedroom
Speak to DH regarding booking tickets for next week
Clear the clutter from the top of the drawers in the master bedroom
Take DD over to the horse so she can do what needs to be done.
Take DS to his drama group
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.

Ironing is done and away.Today I'm running Kaz's doggy day care, I can collect doggy by 9.30am, so doggy and I are off to local car boot walking, then back on coastal path. Don't want to walk on beach with doggy as there were raw sewerage spills yesterday owing to the rain, I don't want doggy walking on it / in it, then lick paws etc, well not on my watch.Once we get back it is cuddles and sleeping, cats are not going to like it but tough it is one day only.Kitchen is tidied upBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
