Friend of mine recently dropped off at T3 Manchester airport. On this occasion, forgot to pay online by midnight following day. Can somebody please advise how to appeal as the registered keeper of the vehicle?

Appeal as keeper based on no keeper liability, not relevant land under POFA2012, so no schedule 4, see page 22 -
Thank you for your response. So I suppose on the appeal, he would not name the driver at all but it would be ok to put his name as the keeper of the vehicle since the fine already came in his name?Gr1pr said:Read this thread

Correct, the keeper appeals as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving, use the template as is, no stories, no explanations, APCOA have no idea who was driving, so do not assist them
Its not a fine, its a charge notice, an invoice2 -
Do you know how long it usually takes to respond to appeals and does it come via email or post?, I didn't get any confirmation of the appeal to the email I registered it to so ultimately no proof I actually appealed which is worryingGr1pr said:Correct, the keeper appeals as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving, use the template as is, no stories, no explanations, APCOA have no idea who was driving, so do not assist them

What does the Notice to Keeper say about how appeals should be submitted? Did you follow the method(s) required?Sazbee1974 said:

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

yeah did it all online cut and pasting the whole text that's on page 2 of this thread, I had to put the registered keepers email, I assumed I would get an automated email confirming the appeal had been submitted but didn't however if I go to the appeals page now I can only choose to pay so assume its cause I've already submitted it once, I submitted it on Saturday the 12th so its only been just over a week I just wondered how they contact with the outcome (post or email) and usually how long that takesUmkomaas said:

it’s a tiny charge compared to the cost of the flight. It’s a way of encouraging more sustainable transport use to the airport. It’s private land so up to the land owner to charge or not and it eases traffic for buses and other vehicles around the terminal.0
