Good morning 🌅 Well the cats swollen chin has gone down a lot and he ate his breakfast happily, so we are keeping an eye on him. He’s the type that drools and bangs his face on the cat carrier bars, so I think it’s better to see how he goes. Obviously if it doesn’t go completely back to normal we will take him, but I think he’s on the mend..phew.
WWpup went out at 5.30 (with MrWW, hurrah), but then spent the time until my alarm went off (fairly gently) chewing my hands and rolling all over me. We had a big ball chasing session before breakfast so I’m hoping she’ll sleep for a few hours while I work.
It’s still nearly 2 weeks until payday, which is most annoying as I’ve had my mental reset, but can’t top up any pots until I get paid. My insurance is due next month, so I’m waiting on the new quote email to drop soon. I have £500 in a pot for that at least, so I’m hoping it’s around that figure. I think it was about £450 last year.
I hope you all have a fabulous day ☀️

I’m glad the cat is feeling a bit better. Always a good sign when they want to eat! 😉

Yaay for WWpup going out with Mr WW (I think you might need to give Mr WW ‘the good treats’ for a bit … 😉)

Hope you have a calm and quiet day … 🤞😉

Good morning and happy Thursday 🌟 just one week until payday…not that I’m counting! I’ve already ordered a fair bit of pet food for august, so will be able to funnel that money into the pots.
Work this week, so nothing much to report. I was out in the garden at 5am this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep (although the pup did), so it’s been a long day already.
I’m still waiting on my car insurance quote, normally I’d have had it by now. As it’s with the AA they shop around all their insurers for their lowest, so I don’t tend to shop around myself. Although I will if it goes up a lot. I’d prefer to be saved from putting all my details in, which I guess is what they bank on!
I hope you all have a great day.

    Happy new diary.
So pleased you have a new puppy. I’d definitely be tempted to have some training lessons as my friend bought a German Shepherd during lockdown…..it was a rascal 😂😂😂stole and wrecked lots of things it shouldn’t but looked up with its big doggy eyes and she couldn’t be mad at it😂😂 It’s had her over a couple of times because it was a big dog but still really only a pup and was stronger than her when it decided it wanted to go one way and she went the other. She regretted not being able to get it trained properly…

Thanks milann. My labrador was much the same. I always said I spent more time on my face than my feet when I walked her when she was younger. This girl is indeed a rascal, but she’s a delight when she’s sleeping 😬 is your friends dog a model citizen now?
I haven’t done much today apart from take in the Tesco delivery, walk around the garden a lot and then had a long ball playing session in the hall.
I hope everyone has had a good Saturday ☀️

But the long ball playing session in the hall meant you got your steps in …? 🤔😊😉

WW friends dog did improve in the house but never really stopped the pulling when it was out and about and was very anti social with other dogs. It was fine with adults she knew and the best security for our Avenue. Nobody would come down as her bark and size was enough to stop them 😂Unfortunately, my friend was heartbroken when its back legs failed 😩😭…there was nothing the vet could do ❤️ It was only a few weeks ago and she isn’t ready yet to make a decision about getting another. I’ll be very surprised if she doesn’t in time.

    Hey 👋

So I spent last night catching up on 20 months worth of your old diary to find you here.

Our puppy is now almost 4. 😱 she's a Shrepador. ½ German Shepherd & ½ labrador. Built like a tank, loves everyone, ball, water & cheese. She still pulls on a walk though. I do think GS breed are very sensitive. She's scared of her own shadow sometimes and also not keen on cars or motorbikes passing near us. You do know baby GS are also known as land sharks or T-rex 😂.

Will catch up more later as really need to get dressed to start work 😩
