Did you buy from main dealer or private sale?
    Nissan dealer
As I understand it a main dealer wouldn't retail a car without a full service history under their approved used scheme so it might just be that you need to get the evidence of service printed. Or it might not have actually been due. Either way the dealer should be able to sort.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Which engine?  1.3 petrol are every 12 months or 18k miles, whichever comes first, so get the second annual service done on time and you'll be ok.. The e-power is on 9k servicing. Warranty very likely void unless servicing is up to date either way

When I was looking for my last second hand car I must have viewed about 5 cars that had been advertised with FSH before I found one with FSH. It's just the way the industry works. I always imagine myself working in the industry. I'd be sacked immediately for telling a customer the truth. I wouldn't last more than a couple of hours!

Regarding the service history, the stamps in the book are the records of service that the car came in with. It's not to say that another service hasn't been done, it just may not have been stamped.

The Nissan service schedule for this car is 12 months or 18k miles, but it's whatever comes first.
    1.3 DIG-T (HR13 engine) 2020 Service Maintenance Schedule - Nissan QashQai Forums

It's first service was due at 12 months even though it might not have been anywhere near 18,000 miles.
    This might effect the warranty.
I would check with your local Nissan dealer though, it could have had it and just not stamped.
All my Renault servicing is on an app as well as a service book.

As a word of warning, this engine does have a known fault.
The plastic thermostat can blow apart and you suddenly and more often than not catastrophically, lose all the coolant.

I have the same HR/H5Ht 1332cc engine in my Renault Clio and I have asked and bugged everyone I know in the industry about this and it does seem pretty random.
Some last forever, others have been known to go at as little as 22,000 miles.
Some drip others just blow apart suddenly.

I think there is a Facebook page about them and obviously the Qashqai forums.

I’d recommend rejecting the car since it clearly hasn’t been serviced in accordance with the Nissan warranty requirements. If a Nissan dealer can’t find a record of the service, then you can assume none exists. This will affect the value when you sell as well as invalidating the warranty. Act now before the 14 days expires. You could give the missed service as a reason which might prompt them to look harder or get Nissan to reinstate the warranty. Don’t just accept this.

As an update I sent this email yesterday

We've thought more about this and want to formally reject the car and return it under the 14 day return policy.

Apart from the service history and the scratches on the door, there is also a problem putting fuel in the car, stains on the passenger seat, the drivers seat controls are loose. The car has obviously not been looked after and more issues might arise in the future.

Please arrange to collect the car and return our payment in full

Given the time critical nature of it I'd phone them too.

How far away is the dealer to you? Can you return it to them or does it really need collected?

I'm surprised a Nissan Dealer would be selling one in a condition that poor too.

    About 90 mins away< he's replied now
    "Good Afternoon Marion,

I have escalated to my General Manager for approval - He is out of business until Friday 18/07/2025.

I will update you on his return.

    Kind Regards,

    I've replied

"Sorry we need this sorted asap, we need to source another car and need the money back.
