It does depend on the size of your roof, but in principle an E-W split gives you twice as much roof area as a simple S-facing one.

I would consider Solar, but my 2 sides of the roof face East/West

You can get good results with a east
west solar solution. Such a solution can provide a better balance of energy, while not able to produce the peak levels of a south facing system.

Anyone know the cost for a f-gas engineer to commission the pipe connections. Despite most systems can be purchased pre-filled  without the need of a f-gas engineer, some suppliers still require the engineers info before dispatch 🤷🏻‍♂️
