Lots done today, including my tax returnDog walk first thing, and the drama queen developed a limp in one front leg and demanded to be carried home. Luckily he only weighs about 4 kg. Good job he isn't a St Bernard or something! Got him home, he hid under the chair for a while, then jumped on the sofa and went to sleep. When he woke up he charged down to the bottom of the garden for a bark. Now playing with his toys so whatever it was, was obviously not much. He had some grass seeds on his shoulder - that may have been itLots of tidying / putting things awayAlso made loganberry jam, which I hope has set properly and won't need reboilingLoad of washing done and dried on the line. I haven't ironed it yet though.Garden pots watered and pond topped upMade a lasagne for dinner. Enough for another meal for both of us too. Had garden veg on the side. Not so hot today thank goodness - I haven't felt like doing anything in the 30 degree temperatures.Grateful today for cooler temperature and getting lots done, including the large froggy tax return!6

Yesterday, I went for a walk with DH, then spent the afternoon & evening with mum. We cried together & I showed her some photos & videos of DS, that people had sent me. She treated us to a Chinese for tea.
Today, up early to wake DS3. Yoga, Norwegian, bins out & washing on the line by 9am. I emptied 1.5 compost heaps out, as we're going to remove the paving slabs jnderny & change it from 3 bays, to 1 or 2, haven't decided yet! The rain came quite heavy, so washing was taken in again, & me! Took out new pet insurance with another company, then did the ironing. Went for a massage, think I floated out the spa afterwards... Finished knitting a gonk hat, did 100 skips. A spend day as ordered 3 canvases of DS1, & booked tickets for the cinema next week, for me, DH & DS3.
Grateful for getting some paperwork out if the way (including some for DS1), my lovely massage, DS3 is looking at buying second hand things, not full price ones (he's buying a tv off a Local FB page, & excited to look round a jumble sale on Saturday)Use it up, wear it out

Another quiet day yesterday as DS3 and Beloved went to collect their friends from their hotel and moved them to a B&B a couple of blocks from us. I spent 3/4 of an hour lying on Beloved's bed to stretch out the kinks in my back. I went in the back bedroom to look for proper insoles for my shoes. Didn't find any but brought down several sheets, a couple of books, some simple arch supports and a useful bit for my mask (same as the one that split S/M and will work better than the larger one I've been using - may use sellotape on the mouth part). Mrs Builder messaged to ask if Friday is okay for cleaning this week - yes.
Made a beautiful chicken stew with most of a cabbage, 2 leeks, most of a head of celery and some carrots + pearl barley and yellow split pills. One portion eaten, 5 in the fridge. Boiled a pan of eggs too.
Later I put on the arch supports and shoes and walked as far as the cash machine (had to stop nearly every block) and called in the corner shop on the way back. Failed to buy a toast loaf as they are rearranging the shop, had removed half a rack of shelving and had boxes and baskets covering the floor space.
This morning I put on the supports and shoes and forced myself out of the house. Went to the GPO to pay a bill, calling at the £ emporium and B00ts on the way back. Topped up on ibuprofen, cheese spread (have lots of salady bits to top it), a few treats and a colouring book and felt tips for days when I can't cope with puzzles or books. B00ts had the cough medicine I needed (emptied the bottle on Tuesday) and 2 sets of proper insoles (2nd one 1/2 price and the assistant used a voucher to take another £5 off). A young woman picked up my basket and put it on the till and the assistant brought the bag of shopping round and put it on my walker.
Walked home slowly and called the chemist to order a prescription item. Took some washing in and out and did one trip to the bins with 3 bags of recycling. I have more to go but pulled my shoes off and haven't put them back on. Spent most of the afternoon on the couch trying to rest (think I'd gone past being able to get to sleep, patchy dozing helped). One box filed with sheets, protectors and pillowcases put on pillows (another pillow needs a minor road and a further one needs a determined rescue attempt). Probably another box full with the sheets and mattress protectors brought in today.
Grateful for a successful shopping trip, rest and my book.

Grateful for lunches and teas from stocks, meeting friends for catch up last night, my dog charging about the park this morning.
I so enjoyed going out with my grandsons yesterday - free on bus, played at a play park then into free museum. Spend was a sausage roll for each from Gr.6 -
Been out and back again! Hotting up out there - don't forget to keep hydrated.Went to the free food place and got apples and bananas and bread and spring onions and tofu.I should not need to buy much else. Got home and DS3 informed me we do not have any more washing up sponges. This is because he wanted to wash up his one mug. Not the bowl of washing up, just his mug. Poor darling spongeless Twit. It went on the list for when I happen to be near a shop next.Today I am just going to clear up a bit more of the yard. I bought 2 bags of dirt at the start of the week, so that can top up some pots of flowers that seem to have shrinking soil. Will move some pots around because I am not at optimum placement level, and it will save me doing it next spring when I can't remember what should go where or what was in the pot. Will make a meal plan for the weekend, do some laundry, tidy some things, and sort more bits to leave the house for the charity shop.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I am up to NSD #2 today. Yesterday wasn't one, as I had to buy more milk.Work for the last 2 days, so the opportunity for spending didn't arise.I need to go outside and water the garden in a minute. It is still so hot and dry here.5

I have emptied the paddling pool this evening - bucket after bucket thrown on the plants, including the ones at the front too. A good workout! I'll let the pool dry out overnight, give it a quick wash and then fill it again tomorrow. After a few days, a new species seems to start reproducing in there, plus it gets a tad slimy and slippery on the base!!!Today I am grateful for getting to the gym and having a good sesh, for it being dh's last day of manic hard work, for dyl0n dye for clothes, for getting brilliant bargains in a charity shop - 4 items of clothing + 4 lovely mugs + crocs for £5.25!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Had a lie in, then tackled some frogs. This fook me til lunchtime. Had to pay back an overpayment of a benefit, but all done now. We have torrential rain, but decided to walk to the village & back any way. Collected my next sick note, got letters posted & money deposited.
Finished my book when we returned home. Sewed up the gonk so far & knitted its feet, whilst watching the first half of a series.
Grateful for not spending anything, apart from the overpayment, another gonk nearly finished, getting froggy paperwork tackledUse it up, wear it out
