Ok I see thank you - so at this point it’s too late for me to complain or do anything but go to Court?
No, that isn't what we said.

What the receipt says doesn't matter.

It won't stop Moorside and you want the claim. It's the only dispute resolution stage you get, and we win defended cases.
What do you mean here then as I (mis)interpreted as it’s too late to send a complaint to UKPS? Do I make the complaint regardless as it’ll be used at the dispute resolution stage?

No I didn’t see it until I made my next post to say truthfully I had forgotten about it, so asked the question about my PO receipt before I sent the complaint email as per that advice - but then became confused by the responses that it was irrelevant and doesn’t matter as I wasn’t sure if it was being said it was too late to complain now it had gone to Moorside. Sorry not trying to be difficult just genuinely getting myself confused!

    Hi all, quick question -

I sent a complaint to the Chief Exec at Coventry Rugby Club, he’s sent it to their administrator to ‘investigate’ and she’s said UKPS have given the following response:

There has been no correspondence ever received from anyone. Case file transferred to a debt recovery firm on 18th June as per protocol.

It is advised that the registered keeper will now need to contact the company who sent them the latest letter.

And that concludes my enquiry & nothing further can be done by the club.

Is this true that nothing can be done by the club now, or can they still cancel despite a letter before claim being recently sent? If they can still do anything I’ll continue to pursue the complaint.

    No it is a lie.

Tell them their agreement with the parking firm cannot possibly stop the landowner from asking for genuine patron cancellations because surely no-one at the Club would have signed that sort of contract.

The club didn't want to know when I contacted one of the directors. Absolutely useless!

At least you have raised doubt in their minds and they might think about ending the contract instead of renewing it.  You never know, yours might be one of lots of complaints and they might be really annoyed about it all.

Moorside are no-shows at hearings, going by the first accounts we've seen, so no worries if you get a claim to defend.  It's be easier than any appeal, or you could see if Contestor Legal are still doing their no win no fee claim strike out service (which Moorside cases do fit).
