I've reached stage 4 of my Saturdailies and the pots are soaking while I have a coffee. I watered my hanging basket while I was outside.
So lots crossed off and two things added to the list: try on new jeans, check shower head. (Somewhat alarmed to have cold water dripping on me from the ceiling above the bath while I was in the shower 😱. Pretty sure there are no water pipes up there - so my best guess is that the shower head is misfiring. Hoping a soak in white vinegar to remove the limescale will solve that problem 🤞)
Pops has a date for his operation. Friday 11th July. I'm on Annual Leave the following week which may prove serendipitous- I can try to sit on him to stop him overdoing things when he comes home. 'Try to' being the operative words! He'll do as he likes. He always does. Heyho. I can try.
Right. Coffee. Join me?

Would love to join you for coffee, Round, but the three of us are about to go out to visit an NGS open garden. That is, once DH has had his shower and shaved!
We had a heavy shower just after midnight which has definitely freshened things up and washed my car for meThere are rain clouds around but I'm not taking a coat out with me.
The Connections setter was obviously thinking of us Flyfolk today. I got all 4 rows correct with no lives lost, Strands with no hints, and Wordle in 5. I've also made my bed, done a bit more money shuffling, S&S'd the kitchen, and PUUPA in the LR and DR. That's my flying done for today.
Have a good weekend, everyone xxx8 -
Good afternoon, I'm late posting today, but I've been at the stables all morning attending to the horse.
My list for the rest of the day
Look into car insurance as the renewal is due later this month, so need to see if there are any better deals . Saved £228 on the renewal price
Laundry x 2 loads
Look into activities to do whilst on holiday in a couple of weeks
Check and update the diary for the rest of this month Work in Progress
Make a start on sorting out the garden, as it's become rather overgrown
Look for present ideas for DS's birthday
Sort the pile of clothes that are at the bottom of the bed, it's stuff I took out of the TD yesterday, and just put in a pile, so now I need to sort through it
Change the master bedding
Take DD to the stables to deal with the horse (got a few tasks to get done tonight, so will be there a while)
I think that is everything that I need to tackle. I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday/weekend.

It's been coloer today, whuch is nice, but still mild. Not a lot of flying. I've (nearly) finished the drying from yesterday's washing, made lunch and tea and WU, twice. I've also watered some plants and popped to the shops. I've tided the dining talbe, which tends to be a dumping ground, tidied the sofa, also a dumping ground, and vacc'd the sitting room. Actually, more flyging than I thought.Am about to accompay A on his stair exercise and then make supper (a piece of cod in batter with peas for. me and a Pret ploughmans baguette for A). 'Make' is, perhaps, a bit of a stretch.8

Morning all
I've finally caught up on the thread, although after thanking all the posts I realised it was last week's, so had to do it all again 😏🙃
Flying has been a bit hit & miss for a couple of weeks busy-ness visiting family, having appointments and suffering a disgusting sore throat & cough. On the mend now and feeling inspired again by your posts.
Today is general tidy up, dust & vacuum, S&S kitchen & bathroom, WM x2, DW"I started out with nothing
And still got most of it left"

Morning all xx
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, fed the birds, WUDUPA, put out the recycling, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, requested my repeat prescription, checked how many miles I'm insured for 🐸, phoned S, spoke to P and asked him to see if his gardener will take me on 🐸, completed three Sudoku, read some of my book, supped two brews and a coffee....I think that's everything.
Oh. I tried to open an account online with the leccy company (🐸) but it wouldn't play ball so that's still on the to do list.
And dish cloth is soaking in bleach.
No washing is swishing as it was raining earlier.
Shopping list to write next ready for my visit to Mr Al tomorrow. Note to self: take bag of bags with me NOT my peg bag 🤦♀️.
Love to all

Afternoon. I cleaned the bathroom and toilet this morning. Did a washload about lunchtime when it seemed to have settled down. Spun it in the machine again after an uninvited extra rinse! It's back out on the line now so fingers crossed. Not much else going on, I did do a roast dinner which just made me hot. Hope everyone's OK6
