    In the meantime I'm testing out an alternative mobile solution using a TP-Link MR105 router with a 3 500Gb/month pre-paid SIM:

    This works out about £2.59/month (£75/29 months)  @ 500Gb per month.

    Edit 29/6/25:  Price of that 500Gb SIM has now increased from £74.99 to £189.99,  so equiv of £6.55/month (£190/29 months).
    Edit   1/7/25:  Price of that 500Gb SIM is back down to £74.99 (Prime),  so equiv of £2.59/month (£75/29 months).
    Edit   5/7/25:  Price of that 500Gb SIM is now reduced to £74.49 (Prime),  so equiv of £2.57/month (£74.49/29 months).
    Edit   11/7/25:  Price of that 500Gb SIM is now reduced to £69.99 (Prime),  so equiv of £2.41/month (£70/29 months).

    @Scrounger thats a really good deal. I did look at Three as an option but sadly their coverage isn't great where I live

    Update 2/7/25 -  Switch done, engineer was here for about an hour and kept the same landline number :)
