My garden pickings are starting to drive what we are eating. I have runner beans and potatoes today (along with berries). I think another jelly with garden berries in for an easy dessert, and either poached eggs or fish with beans (carrots I can pull) and potatoesSave £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the grow your own in 2026 discussion thread

Asking here as it's quiet on the June thread.
If you've alloted clubcard vouchers and spent it back on groceries, do you all still count it as money spent? It's been bugging me for some time.
I do, but I wondered what others do.GC 2025 so far £1461.52/£1710 Dec 13th - Jan 12 = £55.52/180 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Two person vegan household, with occasional visitors)Join me on the meal plan thread : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6356309/could-we-start-a-meal-plan-thread-again-so-its-not-lost-in-the-gc/p1Forever learning the art of frugality4 -
I don’t use my vouchers for food shopping but if I did I wouldn’t be counting it as part of the GC spend - that is just what shows in my bank statement.6
-
I don't count Tesco vouchers, Nectar points or Boots points towards my grocery challenge, I think of them as extra perks which mean I haven't spent my own cash on the items.6

I spend nectar and Tesco vouchers on my grocery's to help bring the shopping bills down in March. I don't record the savings I have made.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £35.96 spent, 144 made and 5 mended,

Had a difficult time posting earlier today so here is the shortened version.
I discovered yesterday that Rancho Gordo beans are now available in the UK from this site Shop | Discover Quality Beans Today — The Heirloom Bean Co, bringing rare dried beans to the UK which has made rather a hole in my treat fund.
I've spent £1.46 at Mr T's, £4.10 at Mr T's and £21.05 at M*rks this week.
That makes my new GC total £51.74/£150
My rough meal plan for the week is to make a coleslaw, green salads, marinated tofu again, the flatbread wraps again and to try this cauliflower salad too.
I'm also hoping to make some blackcurrant curd and some rhubarb curd later in the week.
Hope everyone is enjoying the good weather wherever you are."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

Ok so going forward then I will not be counting any vouchers. Over the past months thats what I have been doing, to try and give a better reflection of what I'm buying. However, I am trying to save them up now for the end of the year; but just depends how desperate things get.GC 2025 so far £1461.52/£1710 Dec 13th - Jan 12 = £55.52/180 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Two person vegan household, with occasional visitors)Join me on the meal plan thread : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6356309/could-we-start-a-meal-plan-thread-again-so-its-not-lost-in-the-gc/p1Forever learning the art of frugality5
