July Grocery Budget for Two £155.
Last shop for July yesterday. £19.99 spent.
The tomatoes, cucumber and potatoes were on offer. We have had fish, meat and cheese from the freezer, 14 eggs from the hens, and apricots, blackberries, redcurrants, blueberries and the first plums from the garden this week. DH made the bread and daily kefir. He buys extra milk and yellow stickered fruit. We have been given runner beans.
We had members’ birthday free tea and cake for two at the garden centre.
I shopped on the first and last day of the month, 7 times in all, 5 usual grocery shops at Aldi and Asda for stocking up and Lidl in passing, we don’t have one locally. DH bought extra milk and yellow stickered fruit.Total Spent for July £154.53

My July grocery budget is underspent but the eating out/fun budget has well and truly been busted so I'm going to slither over to August and start afresh. The bright side is at least the grocery underspend can subsidise the overspend on eating out.Well done to all of us for making the effort to manage our grocery spends!3

@changeyourlifeforever that sounds great for the month. Well done!Grocery challenge June £241.19/£320. July £303.97/£215
August £36.02/£3102 -
I've completely lost track of my spending largely due to being very overwhelmed by the weather and events so am going to draw a line under July and slink off to August to try again. See you all over on the new thread.3
