Hallooooo xx
Finally. I'm on the thread woot woot. It's bad enough having a robot confirm that I'm human in the first place. But when it fails to do so....🤬 Repeatedly 🤬
I'm convinced it's a ploy to make me use the new mse app. So I won't.
Anyhoo. Here I am. TADA! 😊. I'm up, made my bed, completed Strands with one hint, completed Wordle in three, only managed one line in Connections, and I've supped my first brew.
I wrote my Saturdailies/ weekend list while I was at work yesterday. In pen because I couldn't find a pencil, but never mind. I'll sup a second brew before I make a start.
I hope Miss Valli is OK. And that Miss Fayolle and all her belongings arrive home safely. We hired a van to move DS out after his third year at Uni....so what it's like after four years I dread to think. If DH hasn't hired a van I hope he has a large car! A very large car. And a trailer maybe 🤔
Mmmm blackcurrant jam. My favourite. I'll not be heading south to pick up a jar of homemade from Fayolle though - you're safe 😉. I'll make do with the shop bought jam in my fridge. It's twot to travel far.
No sun here at the moment. Very dark clouds passing overhead but no rain forecast. 🤷♀️
Anyhoo. Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.

Morning all. Well, isn't this site just a joy to use now, not!
Wordle in three. So far today, I have done dailies, walked Poppet, got two wash loads on line and watered garden.
Just having breakfast then I'll wash up and do hoovering before a weekend of babysitting.
Hopefully see you all on the new thread.
Have a great weekend everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all. No rain forecast here either but strangely as I look out of the back door it's raining steadily. That very fine rain that soaks everything. Lucky I don't have enough washing for a load today and the garden will be smiling. I cut the grass yesterday so that's lucky too.I know I rarely post but I always read. Today my son in law is coming to swap everything over to a new computer. This one won't upgrade to Windows 11 so I was very annoyed to have to buy new, especially when Microsoft promised never to change again. Why did I believe them? I hate having new things so I've been very anxious for the past week. He came over Thursday night and uploaded everything to the cloud so hopefully that will all float back down into the new computer. So either I'll be back later with a new computer or I'll be on my old laptop, which also won't upgrade to 11 but that won't be replaced because I used that for holidays and we're not doing that any more because my husband isn't well enough.Hope everyone's OK. Very humid here.6

Morning all,
Humid here too, although the clouds are just lifting and blue sky is appearing. Pollybear - please send rain! Especially the steady type.
I am on a roll…DH has left for the uni city. Well, it would have been unfair of me to take up the passenger seat as it will be needed for loading Stuff 😉. So I am pleasing myself this morning, which so far has turned out to include flying. Whoever knew. So far:
bathroom s&s
WULTD, kitchen sink cleaned
Dw clean being run
wm x 1 in progress.
In the plan:
dust and vacuum downstairs
maybe run wm clean just to get a full house in the appliance clean department
leave a jar of jam outside the front door for Round, in case she changes her mind and comes to visit 🙃.
Not sure what has come over me. Don’t worry, it won’t last 🤣.
I seem to be the only one not having problems on the site, maybe because I access using an old ip@d 🤷♀️. Obviously I will have now jinxed that.7 -
Making hay while the sun shines. Not literally. I mean I'm posting while I'm on the thread in case I can't get on the next time I try.
Sorry to hear that your DH is no longer well enough to go on holidays Pollybear 😘 It's always good to see you delurking. Good luck with the puta transfer.
Sorry Fayolle - twot to travel. I'm staying put. Quick question though: assuming I did travel the hundreds of miles to pick up the jam would you not let me in? Not even for a brew? No? I'm to pick up the jam from the doorstep, turn round and drive home again. OK. Bottom lip is quivering. But your house your rules. Sigh.
I've put fresh towels in the bathroom and sploshed bleach down the loo; I'm showered, washed my hair, degorillaed, and dressed, (forgot to moisturise- bother). The laundry hamper has been brought down. Tick. Tick.
Next:
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins ✅
Then coffee
Sounds like a plan.
Fan is on and oscillating. 🥵

Of course I’d let you in, Round - after all, I will need extra hands to sort out the impending uni bin bags and boxes 🤣
Chugging down my list. Stopped for coffee, as that is more attractive than getting the vacuum cleaner out. Meat unearthed from the freezer depths for the carnivore. Mental freezer inventory done. But of course I have promptly forgotten what I have seen as I didn’t write it down. Sigh.
Water houseplants next - nothing like a bit of vacuum procrastination.Getting twotter here.6 -
Walking done early, loads of thunderflies here. Polly please send rain here, it is very dry and dusty.Someone has been very silly and sent me a spring bulb catalogue
it would be so wrong of me not to order something from it..............
Strawberries are picking well.Cats now have a cheap cool mat, one has used it, the other 2 have sniffed at it and wandered off. I think I might wrap myself in it!!General cleaning done, too hot for any more.Have a good dayBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Fayolle - you have a mental freezer? Now I need one. 😊
First load of washing was pegged out, and dry by the time the second load had finished swishing. So first load has been brought in and FU. Second load is pegged out.
Laundry hamper has been taken back upstairs. Cans of pop have been unboxed and put in the fridge. Cardboard has been recycled.
I'll WUDUPA now the sun is off the kitchen. Do a bit. Sit a bit.

On the new computer now and so far so good. Had to download some bits and pieces but 99% of my stuff just floated over. Only because my son in law prepared everything a couple of days ago. Every family needs a techie! Some things look different because they are up to date versions but I expect after a few days I will have forgotten the old ones.My flying was putting boxes etc on top of the wardrobe for a few days while we make sure everything is OK and making bacon rolls for lunch. I've got a banging headache but I think that's a combination of heat and humidity and stress over the computer stuff. If I don't have something to stress about I make something up. Bad habit7

Good evening, I have had a busy day, but not done much flying.
This morning I took the dog for a walk, took DD to her riding lesson and then went to the stables to check on her horse and feed him. After the stables, I had lunch and sorted out some paperwork.
This evening, we went out to see a circus show and then stopped by the stables on the way back to check on the horse. I've put a load of laundry in the WM and will move to the TD once ready. Now time for a cuppa whilst looking at some coursework and then an early night as I've got a lot to do tomorrow ahead of a busy week, as 3 exams to get done next week.
I hope everyone has had a lovely Saturday, whatever you are up to. Hugs to those who need/want them.6
