Yep, my family never use Tesco for main shop anymore after being caught by new restrictions at a branch we thought we knew well. (There were no additional warnings of the changes for the first 4 months as required;(Horizon withdrew at POPLA.)) In addition Tesco lost our 4 mobile phone contracts, some insurance and we now never fill-up there.

It's very common to have Horizon and YPS signs on opposite sides of the same pole, as @Car1980 points out. At Bletchley Extra, Bucks, I noticed the closest adjacent example I've ever personally seen...:

(As an aside, the Tesco signs are the old Highview signs over-stickered by Horizon. None of the Data notice signs have been updated from Highview which redirects to Group Nexus)

A vaguely interesting variation I personally hadn't seen before at Tesco Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead:
Blanket 3 hours except for "match days" when Tesco/Horizon reduce to 2 hours. As usual the green YPS sign offers only the clear "free parking for up to 3 hours 24/7" message. Oh, and the privacy notices are still the old Highview (now part of Group Nexus) signs.
I'm not local and confess I had to google that Hemel Hempstead Town FC play nearby. Had I not googled, I'd have no idea where the matches are that the "match days" restriction refers to - it could be Villa Park 100 miles away for all the use those signs are. Presumably Tesco/Horizon enforce the reduced 2h time from 0000 - 2359 on "match days"..

The whole thing is a complete confusing mess, at what stage can you extend your parking does it have to be done prior to the three hours running out or can you do it after three and a half hours, or would they invoke the no return for one hour rule.
The Your Parking Space signage which mentions its own T&C's on its website but makes no cross reference to the Horizon signage. The Horizon signage makes no reference to the Your Parking Space signage.
It's like the rules have been put in place with no consultation, this signage has not been thought out, or audited (nothing new there) and they will do what ever they like to a confused public as ever.
