What make you think you would pay tax on it?

Because i have sold over £5000 of stuff on ebay so far this financial year.
The coin was given to me in my change at asda and appears to be worth up to £200

For context it appears OP is a business seller on eBay, so I can definitely understand wanting to sell an unwanted personal possession separately.  I guess this is why people sometimes have a private and a business account, but if you don't already have a private account with history then buyers are going to be wary buying a high value item like this from a new account!

Facebook groups for coins?  Old-fashioned forum?

If you live near a big city there's probably a coin dealer or two you could approach?

Look up 'Christopher Collects' on YouTube. He has a Discord server you could join for advice or maybe even find a buyer.

Not wishing to cast doubt on the value but there are often ridiculous values placed on Enay auctions for coins so check sold only values.

Always good advice, there are still people trying to sell fairly common 50p pieces for hundreds of pounds when they aren’t worth more than face value.
