Package holiday booked with TUI but flight is with BA

No reason why you can't contact TUI for guidance if you are unclear about any aspect(s) of the BA flight, that's entirely reasonable and hardly constitutes a panicky call.

I've found that 'phoning a TUI store with a general enquiry is always answered as fully as is possible.

Of course you can always get clarity from your rep in the resort in respect of a return flight. 

According to Google search, BA724 is a scheduled daily flight Heathrow to Geneva, departing 06:30, arriving 09:10.........not a chartered flight by TUI.
