Good to see you back memorygirl and to catch up on all your 'doings'.
Pretty much of what you are doing in preparation for the baby, I did as a matter of course when I had my two going on 40years ago, but it is so rare these days and so refreshing to see someone willing to have a go.
I would not have had your 'pluck' on the housebuying front and I take my hat off to you. Sounds like you have plenty of work ahead. I hope all goes well with the move.
The 'quilts' idea sounds wonderful and all your craft work is such an inspiration. I'm off now to sew up a baby cardi I have just done for a pressie, but I fear it is not going to be as appreciated as much as your 'windfalls' have been because it is going to a home where more is more. OS young people are pretty thin on the ground these days.
All the best in your exploits. Don't work yourself TOO hard.

It's good to see you back with us again, MemoryGirl and to have an opportunity to catch up on what's happening in 'your world'.
You've been a very busy bee - just don't overstretch yourself too much. We're all eagerly awaiting the next instalment!0 -
Hi Memorygirl, lovely to read your piece, and i wish you all the very best for your future with your little family. It is so refreshing to read something like this. You are a very strong woman, and you will always succeed in whatever you do. His loss. I raised my 6 children alone for many years with out help from anyone, and remember those days when it was such a struggle moneywise as well. Thank goodness for jumble sales and charity shops, where i bought lovely clothes for us all and curtains and bedding like new,
and i was always delighted with my bargains:T Take it easy and i wish you a healthy and safe delivery of your wee baby. God Bless.xxDo a little kindness every day.;)0 -
