Coventry ISA, after entering my sort code and account number, I get error '
Sorry, but you can't currently use this service to transfer your ISA to us.
Please call us on 0345 1200 805 to discuss this'I have been in communications with YBS for over 4 weeks and still get the same errors.
I am not sure what YBS is like, so far noone follows up and they have sent me 3 transfer in forms but none had arrived. I have checked my address with them, maybe Royal Mail but I am receiving other posts.

Update: I have tried different devices and browsers and I am still unable to transfer my existing ISA into YBS, I will need to complete a paper form to do the transfer. Regarding money from the account (Flexi cash ISA), if for some reason I can login to the account but not able to access the ISA account online, what are my options to withdraw funds? Will be issue with a card or can I do it over the phone?0

Have you tried visiting a YBS branch to get this sorted?
I don't think ISAs come with debit cards do they?0 -

It's odd that you can't instigate an online ISA transfer between the Coventry BS and YBS as both use the BACs online ISA transfer service so it should be possible to do a transfer without paper forms, in theory at least.20122013 said:Update: I have tried different devices and browsers and I am still unable to transfer my existing ISA into YBS, I will need to complete a paper form to do the transfer. How did you open the ISA ? The two easy access ISA accounts they're currently offering are managed in the same way as you apply, so online only for online accounts and branch/post only for accounts you open in a branch or by post. This means that if you opened the account online and can't access it, then you're not going to be able to see the balance or manage it any other way. They don't issues cards for this type of account.20122013 said:Regarding money from the account (Flexi cash ISA), if for some reason I can login to the account but not able to access the ISA account online, what are my options to withdraw funds? Your posts are a little confusing - are you actually able to see the ISA account listed in online banking ? It really wouldn't make sense to proceed any further with a transfer if not. To be honest though, it would be worth questioning whether it's worth proceeding regardless considering the trouble you're having. You can get far better easy access cash ISA rates elsewhere.
FWIW - I've never held an ISA with YBS but I've got a few other accounts with them and never had an issue logging into the website or using the app so if you're having problems generally, then they probably lie with your devices and/or settings.

I can login to the YBS website and I can my ISA account but I cannot transfer in to my YBS account.I am hesitant to use the paper form to do the transfer, mainly because if I cannot access the ISA account online, that would be pointless.Great to know and I will look for a different Cash ISA.

I've had issues in the past transferring cash ISAs in/out of YBS. My problem was not using the full 10 digit number of the YBS ISA on the transfer form and only supplying the more usual first 8 digits. All my YBS accts have had the same last 2 digits (07) anyway for the last 20 years!1

I'm sure it will.I hope this may help others, too.
It would be even more helpful if you could edit in a few paragraph breaks to aid legibility.0
