Please edit and delete most of the two posts where you have shown us (twice) the template defence. You've made your thread unmanageably long by those 2 posts.

We'll look once those 2 posts are deleted please, and instead we are only being asked to look at your bit that you wrote.

     :)

That's correct,  edit functions are enabled when you change from newbie to forumite,  so you can do it then

    Meanwhile

We only want to see what you wrote,  not the rest,  so post the few paragraphs that YOU changed below,  typically 2 or 3 paragraphs only

    2. The facts in this Defence are based on the Defendant’s own honest belief and recollection. The Defendant was, at the relevant time, a licensed private hire driver working under TfL regulations. The vehicle in question was not owned by the Defendant but had been rented through a private arrangement with Comfort Solutions, a business which hires vehicles to private hire drivers.

    3. The Defendant did not receive a formal hire agreement, and all arrangements regarding the use and return of the vehicle were made in person with a representative of Comfort Solutions. The Defendant returned the vehicle in person at the end of the rental and was not in possession of the vehicle at the time any penalty was issued or transferred.

    4. The Defendant did not receive any PCN or notices from the Claimant or any third party, and only became aware of this matter upon receipt of a County Court letter in May 2025. This is believed to be because all earlier correspondence was sent to a previous address.

I'd remove para 3. Not needed.
