I just checked my address and it said a home phonewasn't available here. Most people just use mobiles now as they are so much cheaper, you have three options :

1, Change your mobile and provider to one that supports wifi calling.

2, Switxh to an ISP that providea a phone service.

3, Get a phone plan from one of the voip providers.

Who told you Talk Talk don’t offer telephony on their FTTP , it may vary depending on the underlying network provider, but on Openreach they do offer telephony, but TBH , even on Alt Nets , TT providing telephony shouldn’t be an issue even if other ISPs  on the same Alt Net don’t offer it .

Someone from TT complaints - I queried it and she hasn't replied any further

When I made the switch Digital voice wasn't available it is now.
I am currently out of contract paying £26.50 if I take the same package it would cost £27+2 for the phone and then rising £3 in April + £3 the year after
Currently I could get a faster  package for £26 +2 with the same increases as above
It is more cost affective to remain out of contract but likely could not add digital voice

So TT charge you £2 for a digital phone line - what about the actual calls package ?
