Where can I find most up to date Template defence please?

If we no longer email it to Claimresponses.cnbc@justice.gov.uk, what do we do instead?

We use MCOL and submit it by using the defence box on there, see the new template defence sticky.

PS I did receive a letter in the post from HM Courts and Tribunals Service dated 14 JUL 2025 acknowledging receipt of my defence, it is just not showing on MCOL.

The letter says the claimant may contact me to attempt to resolve the dispute ("mediation" I suppose).  If it cannot be resolved informally the claimant will inform the court they wish to proceed and the court will inform me of what will happen.

It also says - where the claimant wishes to proceed they must contact the court within 28 days after receiving a copy of my defence.  If they don't the claim will be stayed.

I haven't yet heard anything from the claimant.

Just study post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

Then study the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad too

Its all there if you look, including the 8 steps walk through

As mentioned above,  your latest defence for claim number 2 will be submitted on MCOL,  not emailed,  partly due to the problems incurred by emailing it, as you have now found out with claim 1

I have already studied everything in detail that was available at the time for the first court claim I received.

I had also already prepared my defence for the second claim using the template provided at the time in June, so I'm going to have to change that now.

As I don't want to have to go over all the infomation again, I just need to know - has anything other than the template defence and how we submit it changed?

Also, as I will need to add cause of action estoppel into the defence, so where will I put that into the new template now?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think this DCB legal POC really states the breach, it just says vehicle remained on private property in breach of the prominently displayed T's & C's.  Am I technically correct, or no it does state the breach?
