Hi
My 84 year old mam wants to open an ISA but is really struggling as she doesn't do online banking and doesn't really want to open an ISA online. She has been to her bank who can't help her and say she needs to open an ISA online. Is there anyway or anyone who offers ISA's by just filling in a paper form?
Thanks

I think both the Post Office and Skipton Building Society have ISAs that fit your criteria. You can do a search at Easy Access Cash ISAs | June 2025 | Rates up to 5.46%#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

I wouldn't use the Post Office as their savings accounts , provided by Bank of Ireland, have a dreadful reputation.1 -
According to their websites, Lloyds, Halifax, Barclays, TSB, and Santander all allow you to open an ISA in a branch.0

HSBC in branch also try to get you to set up accounts on your own phone, I refused (explaining that my phone is too old for the app), and he said I will have to try to remember how to do it then, and set me up one!

My parents prefer to use branch-based accounts and they were able to open an ISA with YBS0
