  • After searching for so long for a healthcare cashplan, i finally decided that i'd go for HSA. I know i will be able to use it mainly for dental, optical, physio.

I know you can get a £35 cashback from QUidco, but i just applied over the fone as i wanted to find out what the qualifying period was. Just found out that there is no qualifying period, so i can start claiming right away. What's more, if you apply before the 28th of Feb, you get 1 month free.

I still have to receive my welcome pack and i can still change my mind within the next 14 days. I took the Level 3 one , which you pay £4 a week.

I hope i did the right thing. I've read a lot of posts, and there are a lot of pros and cons on the different providers that Martin has suggested, so it made it quite difficult for me to come up with the decision.

    What do others think ?

I don't know if attention has already been drawn to the Tesco clubcard deal which provides HSA level 1 annual cover for a cost of £28.60 in vouchers. This cover, for self, husband and 2 children was previously costing more than £145 pa with another company. Cover is for dental, optical, therapies, hospital stays etc. Seems like a good deal.

Hope I've posted this properly, still a bit of a newb!

Cant see this offer on the Tesco clubcard deals now online or in the brochure.

I am with HSA and have been for a couple of years, I joined when they started to pay 100% dentist bills as our dentist went private so every check up costs! I pay £228.72 annually for cover for me, hubby and 3 children. This year alone I have claimed £140 for overnight hospital stays, dentist check ups for my children & me are £90 evey 6 months so another £180 before the end of this year so I will actually save £80 this year- ok hubby won't have 2 lots of surgery every year but on the whole IMO, it is well worth it.
