Thinking of you @Thrifty_Taylor .. my friend lost her grandson to suicide last week. The whole situation is heartbreaking. (((hugs))) XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy4 -

Two lots of NW £100 turned up today. I have shuffled one off to savings to keep for a meal out for Mr KK and myself and the other has become an OP with a further 7p TT.
I call that balanced 😊

Hugs thrifty.
Mrs Builder came. She dried the pots whilst I moved the candle paraphernalia out of the top filing cabinet drawer so I could get at the pans in the second drawer. After some shuffling I have binned 3 pan lids and all pans/ stock pots have an appropriate lid. We worked on the stuff I'd already moved to the kitchen (+ half a drawer of lemon juice/ cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce) - a lot of those went under the stairs. Containers for rice, pasta, lentils are all on the shelves above the 'cooking' worktop. Rubbish and a bag of paper went out to the bins.
Mrs Builder pegged out my duvet cover and I reloaded the WM. Some small bits were added to Beloved's box of stuff. Mrs Builder cleaned all the worktops (I shuffled things in drawers). Mr Builder came to put the small cube shelves in place (lifting it over the fridge-freezer was easier then pulling the FF out. Microwave has been cleaned and set up. I took 3 empty boxes back to the cube shelves in the front room (I will move my sheets and pillowcases across tomorrow). I asked if Mrs Builder would be my cleaner and she had been going to ask me. She may not be able to do the same day each week as she has just applied for 3 jobs and may have to fit me in around one of them.
After she had gone I ate, then had another shower and added my dress to the washing and set that off. My feet had swollen a bit so I've been relaxing all afternoon. DS3 and Beloved have been to look at a rented house. I had slightly misunderstood the situation with Beloved's friends. They are coming from the USA - they've disposed of most of their stuff and will sell their car and book into a hotel for a few days before flying here. They couldn't get enough money to buy a house so they're going to share this rented house (fingers crossed) and save up enough to buy.
Grateful for having a kitchen with my stuff arranged around me, resting and relaxing, feeling hopeful.6
