Smart Parking + DCB Claim

elithia said:My directions questionnaire arrived and was submitted last week.
I was also contacted by phone this morning by another legal firm attempting to claim the sum on behalf of Smart Parking - they had no idea about the the court claim or any disputes that I had put forward.
They also subtly threatened me with CCJs if I didn't give them further details. I essentially told them them that they need to go and do their jobs, and find out for themselves what other litigation is happening around this claim and refused to give them any details. I did update my address with them as they had an address on their system which is 8 years old and isn't the one registered with the DVLA?!
This was just in case this firm attempts to put a claim through to that address.
Is this something I can now mention and put forward in my case with DCB? Or is this a sign that they've given up entirely and Smart has moved to a different firm?
Which 'other legal firm'?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi both,
Thanks for your responses. It was QDR solicitors - I didn't check the PCN number, but the dates matched.
I have now received a date for a mediation call on 04/11, so as expected, it's still moving ahead with the court claim from DCB.2
