Thanks. So if they decided to take me to court I would win?Coupon-mad said:
No she isn't because you will both educate yourselves about this scam industry by reading the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread.robdex1 said:
Ok so I just ignore the pcn and email them instead? The only proof of delivery I have is from the UberEats app. It just shows the time the delivery was sent to me and start and end location. How long will I be getting debt collector letters from and when will they stop? Could cpm in theory take me to court? My wife is going to start freaking out if I get debt collection lettersCar1980 said:You're not appealing. It's a sham. You are tellling them you were a delivery driver making a delivery and had permission to do so. Email them at
info@uk-cpm.com
and include a scan of delivery proof.
All you're doing is covering your back. You can't make it go away and you'll receive plenty of debt collection threats in the post, but you'll be ignoring them.
Whether you lose your early discount for suckers is of no relevance because you're never paying.
I wrote it and include pics of some of the letters. I am also a woman and it's a simple case of ignoring those letters. Your wife needs to learn and you don't set an example to your family by paying a private PCN to make it go away, or worrying about joke threatograms!
Tell them if you move house. Come back if you get a claim form. No freaking out.

My appeal was rejected as I knew would be from what I read. Today is the last day to pay at the "reduced" rate. I know all of the advice on here is to not pay and I have read all of the success stories, however I am a very anxious person and the thought of potentially having to go to court and speak my case in front of someone to be honest freaks me out to the point I want to just pay and forgot about it. I know I'll get berated for saying this. What actually happens if I'm taken to court do I have to explain my case?
I should add that part of the reason I am apprehensive is that my car was protruding out of the bay as I was rushing and to be completely honest didn't reverse far back enough so I was sticking out

(a) You have left the PCN reference showing on that image
(b) The white car next to your vehicle is also "sticking out".
(c) There's a wooden pallet behind your vehicle which looks like it's going to fall over and hit your vehicle at any time.
(d) And finally, the PCN was issued for having no permit, so it wouldn't have mattered how well the vehicle was parked.3 -
Just ti update, I was speaking to someone and they said the reason I may have got a ticket was because the space had yellow hatchings, and the parking terms state you must not block a fire exit. Where I parked was hatchings but there was only a small door and it didn't have a sign saying fire exit, where as there were a few other spaces that were clearly blocking doors that had a sign saying fire exit. My question is do I still have the same case if blocking a fire exit, even though the charge just said not displaying a permit0

You ALWAYS have a case against a PPC and because the charge just said not displaying a permit that is their ONLY arguable point.

No I was in the same area delivering again and there was a "parking officer" there. He told me the spaces with yellow lines you can't park as it is a fire exit and it clearly says on the sign do not block a fire exit. I wasn't paying attention and it was late on a bank holiday evening, I fear I may have another ticket and if it says I was blocking a fire exit do I still have a case?Coupon-mad said:You ALWAYS have a case against a PPC and because the charge just said not displaying a permit that is their ONLY arguable point.
