Now that Chrismas has gone can MSE look again at the shopping forums?

Les and others it might be an idea to put forward some suggestions on what you would like to see done regarding the various boards such as moving I Wanna down to beside the shopping boards as this will then give the team more of an idea as to what the users actually want from these particular boards.

I did read your post of 4/1 but wondered if perhaps yourself or others had any other ideas. In fact the I Wanna board is called I wanna buy-it or do-it which covers many things over and above shopping and often the threads there get moved out into a more relevant board to suit the question, as of course they should.

Perhaps a sub board on Shop Don't Drop for the people who are looking for a specific item/tv or whatever?

Hi everyone

Just an update to let you know The I Wanna Buy it or Do it board is now in the Bargain Buys section together with Grabbit and Shop But Don't Drop. It's currently between the two, it may move but if it does it won't go far

We're also currently working on something that should help people choose the best place for their threads.

This is important, and we want to forum to run smoothly but we also have to ensure that newbies get their voice - even if sometimes its in the wrong place.

The forum is an organic place and we have to be aware of that. Sometimes things and boards change in nature and we respect that.

We've moved I wanna, and are developing a tool that will ask people with less than 15 posts who are starting a new thread in grabbit - whether they're posting a deal or just requesting one.
