    Anyway -

    Appeals under CPR 52 do NOT require a standalone Statement of Truth

    An appeal is not a witness statement, and it is not a statement of case.
    Therefore, CPR 22 (which governs Statements of Truth) does not apply to Grounds of Appeal or Skeleton Arguments.

    You only sign a Statement of Truth when:

    • you are verifying facts in a witness statement,
    • or verifying a statement of case (claim form, particulars, defence, counterclaim).

    Appeals are legal arguments, not factual evidence.
